I think the cabin could use a little TLC to make it a great place. The freezer needs a seal replaced, you need to make sure that when you close the fridge that the freezer doesn't pop open, otherwise the contents will melt. There are also some other iss I'mues with the fridge we couldn't quite figure out, with some water leaking into the bottom drawers, etc. not sure if this was a freezer issue or fridge issue, so that should be addressed. Televisions in both bedrooms seemed largely pointless, as neither of them had remotes that we could locate, and honestly seemed so old that they were silly to even have in the first place. Smart TVs are so cheap at this point, it feels like a no brainer to just replace those. The dresser in the primary bedroom was pretty wobbly, if we were a party with young children, I might be concerned with it tipping. There's definitely a bit of a ladybug infestation issue, especially upstairs. The bedroom and bathroom were especially impacted by this. We also dealt with a few cockroaches in the cabin, mostly dead, but did encounter live ones as well. The pool table and hot tub were both great, no issues there! I would also note that the cabin is not quite as secluded as the aerial photos in the listing seem. No fault of the owners, but there does seem to be a bit of construction in the area, so it wasn't super quiet during the daytime. overall it was pleasant, but I think a few upgrades would really make this place somewhere to return to.
