NommĂ© Gold en raison de la palette de couleurs adoptĂ©e, cet appartement offre une myriade d'autres expĂ©riences pour satisfaire Ă  la fois les romantiques et les moins jeunes. Gold a de belles vues sur le littoral oĂč tous les principaux ferry amarrent (port/autour des bateaux de Malte et visites de Gozo/Comino/Valletta). Terminus des bus Ă  toit ouverts et bus rĂ©guliers de l'autre cĂŽtĂ© de la rue ainsi que le point de dĂ©part de l'hydravion, pour des visites sans soucis. Nombreux restaurants et cafĂ©s dans cette localitĂ©, crĂ©ant un agrĂ©able centre d'activitĂ©s. Appartement confortable et bien situé

L'appartement est confortable (conforme à la description), situé à deux pas du ferry pour La Valette dans un quartier riche de cafés et de restaurants. La communication avec les propriétaires est facile. Ils ont bien pris en main un petit incident dû à une serrure défectueuse.

 Where do we start? Hosts: amazingly responsive to any requests, big or small. Arranged for airport transfers, weekly housekeeping and more for very reasonable rates. We liked them so well, we hope to see them again! Amenities: Spacious apartment with water views from the terrace, well appointed and stocked with everything you need- there is a lift (elevator) to this second apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a hot tub, and both a clothes washer and dryer-(the latter being a rare find in Malta!) Location: right in the heart of Sliema, with great shopping and (literally) dozens of restaurants within a very short walking distance.Taxi stand is on the corner and the ferry across the street- grocery store a block away. We never had the need to rent a car; taxi and ferry rates so reasonable! Vibe: So much to do and see in Malta! English is one of two official languages; there was literally no language barrier for this (sadly) monolingual couple. The food is amazing, and inexpensive- as are the wonderful Maltese wines. People are friendly and welcoming . Can’t urge you enough to take this wonderful option- so affordable, you might! extend your stay! My only regret: that we are presently sitting at the airport returning home from an amazing experience!

This apartment was a perfect home base for our time in Malta! Awesome location! Across the street from the ferries and buses etc. Lots of shops and restaurants and exciting location. Paul the owner was absolutely amazing right from start to the finish of our vacation. He and his staff answered any of our questions and were always helpful! It was great to arrive after travelling to discover some great basic supplies which was a pleasant surprise. The apartment was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed in the evenings the air hockey and pool table and great restaurants, etc. The apt was equipped with everything we needed! We highly recommend this apartment!

The host was fantastic. Location was close to everything, ferry and bus across the street, many restaurants within a block Unit was clean, kitchen had everything you needed to prepare your own meals. Bed was very comfortable

A fantastic break in Malta

We chose the apartment because it was central to the restaurants, shops and ferry to Valletta. It was absolutely perfect. We were within 5 minutes of many, many excellent restaurants and my wife was delighted there was a Marks and Spencer’s on our doorstep. The apartment itself was also excellent. The rooms were spacious and balcony overlooking the harbour was a wonderful place to sit and have an early evening drink before heading out. A big thank you to Paul who helped us make our stay in Malta a most enjoyable experience.

False impression

Paul was good at replying to our communications. We didn’t get any check-in details though, luckily the taxi firm he uses knew his ‘phone number and could get the keys for the apartment. We still had to contact Paul for details of how to leave the apartment at the end of our stay. The apartment, where do I start - we knew from the photos that it was quirky, but the reality was something else. We were 2 couples so we booked because it had 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 sofas. But hey, no! One sofa had completely disappeared! The snooker table had become a pool table which has seen better days. The dining chairs had been recovered twice and had been patched up with tape. The television was held up by a speaker on one side and a small table on its side plus a book. There were no instructions for it and we couldn’t make it work. The round cushion on the floor surrounded by net curtains was in front of the air conditioning unit. There are several drawers in the bedrooms that couldn’t be used because there were no knobs on them. Some wiring and sockets were probably dangerous because they were hanging off the walls. The kitchen was fine and there were plenty of utensils and crockery. The beds were comfortable although some of the pillows could do with being replaced. The location was the best thing about the apartment, close to the water, the ferries, the buses and restaurants & shops.

La struttura rispettava a pieno la descrizione riportata nell’annuncio, a parte per 1-2 cose. La posizione della casa ù ottima data la vicinanza al mare e per la vita notturna. La casa era quasi perfetta, purtroppo abbiamo trovato delle lampadine fulminate, che sono state sostituite tempestivamente il giorno stesso della segnalazione, e il tavolo da biliardo presentava dei tagli su tappetino, ma per il resto la casa era perfetta. Consiglio vivamente a tutti di soggiornare in questo appartamento, non solo per la bellezza ma soprattutto per le gentilezza e la disponibilità del proprietario di casa

Perfect base for exploring intriguing Malta and Gozo

This 2-bed condo in Sliema was home for a week in August 2023, providing perfect lodging steps from the waterfront with its many dining and touring offerings. You can view that waterfront from the balcony, fine for relaxing before heading out to see this intriguing country. The owner provided excellent support in enjoying the condo and airport shuttles, making our arrival easy. There were no problems with the condo, though there were a couple internet outages, which were city-wide and quickly resolved. We used the hot tub, which is perfect after a day of touring. There’s a laundry in the in the condo. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for preparing and enjoying meals. Supplies can be purchased at the Spar just a couple hundred meters away; more are found in The Point shopping center, also a short walk away. While we took breakfast in the flat, we otherwise found excellent restaurants around the country. One special restaurant is the Fontanella Tea Garden in the old walled city of Mdina. Transportation from the flat was very available by boat, as well as by Uber, cab, and bus. We were easily able to get to the ancient temples all over Malta and Gozo. Most can be accessed on demand, but you MUST purchase your tickets to the Hypogeum in advance. We took an organized tour for the Ġgantija Temple, with its more complex logistics. We give the highest rating for this condo, which made our visit to Malta a great success –we hope to enjoy again soon. Thanks!!

Brilliant location in Sliema

Spacious property in an excellent location. It really is only a couple of minutes walk from shops, restaurants and the (10 minute) ferry across the harbour to Valetta. Apartment is on the second floor but there is a lift if required.

Excellent communication before and during the rental. Airport pick-up and return (organised by owners) was inexpensive and efficient. Apartment is spacious, very well situated (close to everything) and well equipped. Thoroughly recommend it - thank you!

Great location, relaxing apartment.

The location of the apartment is perfect, plenty of shops and restaurants around - easy access to the ferry to Valletta and tour buses too. A nice view from the side of the balcony. The apartment is quite rustique but very comfortable, and the pool table is great for some post-touring relaxation. Would definitely stay again but hopefully arrive earlier, the owners kindly met us in the early hours because of a delayed flight!

Location, Location, Location...

This is the place to stay! It’s as advertised. The owner is a great, not only is he quick to respond, he also help with a solution we had with our reservation. The check-in is the most complete and thorough I’ve experienced. It’s starts with his son Nathaniel, he walked us through their check in process, presented a book with information about the apartment plus restaurants and places to see. The location is less than 5 minutes to the busses and ferries, and some great international/ethnic restaurants are at your doorstep on the promenade. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Malta!

Bella casa e ottima posizione

Siamo stati ospiti in questo appartamento per una settimana e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Splendida la Jacuzzi così come il biliardo, tutto trovate in buone condizioni tranne per alcuni danni che altri ospiti hanno arrecato. La casa ha davvero tutto fra cucina, utensili, lavatrice e asciugatrice, anche se non tutte in ottime condizioni. Proprietari molto disponibili. Da sottolineare l’ottima posizione dell’appartamento, circondato da negozi e supermercati e vicinissimo alla fermata del bus che porta in tutta l’isola!
