Hazelwood Holiday Home - Cozy & Homely
Private Self Catering home with open plan living/kitchen area w/ double doors leading to outdoor patio. Quiet, peaceful & private accommodation, a great holiday base for couples or a small family. A baby crib is conveniently provided for little guests . . . A 20 minute walk or 3-min taxi to Sligo town center, this space offers you a serene environment in which to relax. Hazelwood forest, situated on the shores of Lough Gill, which contains Yeat’s Lake Isle of Innishfree is a short 2-min drive.
The accommodation offers a homely environment. It is perfectly spacious for one or two people and provides for a relaxing stay. It has a comfortable bed with en suite attached. Although the kitchen is compact it allows you to cook simple meals. There is a double portable electric hob, saucepans, frying pans and utensils, fridge and a microwave/oven/grill combo. Breakfast is supplied including bread, butter, an assortment of jams, tea, coffee and milk as well as a selection of breakfast cereals.
Guests are welcome to use the main garden ( a shared space ) as well as the patio area with an outdoor table and chairs off the guest house's French doors. There is free private guest parking right outside the property. There is also free WiFi within the property.

Ballinode is a quiet countryside area with the added benefit of having a close proximity to Sligo town. Close to Hazelwood, 6 km to the beach as well as easy access to shops, bars, restaurants and taxis.
Getting around can be easily done by car, taxi or on foot
Layla the family Labradoodle sometimes uses the garden. Although she generally likes to say hello, she is friendly and perfectly safe.
For guests that would like to bring pets we agree that pets are part of the family, and we welcome dogs here. There is £40 fee and all pets must be authorized at time of booking - email us immediately for pet approval if you plan to bring a pet.
