Serene Shores is the perfect name for this place. As soon as I walked through the door all the packing, driving stress disappeared. So many thoughtful amenities, it was obvious the owners really considered what their guests would need. We all enjoyed the pool, had a hard time getting the 4 and 7 year olds out of it. My favorite things about the pool were the umbrellas on wheeled bases. As a family of redheads, it was wonderful to keep some shade over the pool. The decks let us have a quiet time away from the activities, nice to have that peace when you need it. Loved the beach towels, great to have them provided. I can honestly say this was the most welcoming, relaxing beach vacation I’ve ever had. I could go on and on about this property but I will stop now. Many thanks to Mr. &Mrs. Rana for sharing their home and being the most responsive and responsible owners I have ever dealt with.

The aptly named”Serene Shores” was all that we could have asked for- what a beautiful home ! With ten family members there was plenty of space to gather for dinner and if needed, escape for a little private time.The oceanview and the beach itself was the best of any home we’ve stayed it! It had plenty of spaces to gather on the any of the three levels of decking.The house was very clean and well appointed! Beds were comfortable -owner was very responsive!.We will plan on staying there in the future!

THE property for Topsail Island

We have already thought about booking this property again. The Property:• Truly sleeps 16, w/beds for all.• The beach is just steps away w/great access.• The pool was smaller, but perfect for kids and heated.• Decor was a beautiful modern beach vibe that made every room feel warm and inviting.• There was parking for 6 vehicles easily.• The elevator made the home handicap accessible.The Area:• It was exactly what we wanted for “getting away” from the crowded areas to just relax at the beach.• Restaurants were never more than a 10-15 minute drive away. • There was a cart path that led straight to an outdoor volleyball court and pickleball courts.The Hosts:• This felt like a home away from home. The hosts provided beach towels and offered the use of their beach chairs and pool floats. A• We didn’t feel like we needed to get a lot of cleaning or restocking done, they communicated that from the beginning and confirmed it again on the day of checkout.• They are a great, professional, host and I highly appreciate their support.If you’re wondering if you should spend the money on a great place like this for a vacation -the answer is YES. It was worth every penny.

Amazing Location

Our stay was amazing! Being right on the beach was perfect for our crew. The house was well stocked in the kitchen which made cooking easy, especially with the grill right on the porch. We had a couple questions before and during our stay and the response time was so very quick. The decor of the house was beautiful and loved that every bedroom had a bathroom. Having an elevator also made the hauling of luggage and groceries easy.

Beautiful House terrible beach access

The house itself is gorgeous with a heated pool and hot tub. The only problem was the beach access. The house does not have its own beach access and the public one was horrible. We were traveling with my 85 year old aunt and she could not get on the beach because there was no stairs it was just sand and a huge drop off. I had a hard time with my back issues as well having to basically jump off the hill of sand. I wish I knew of this before the stay as I would have booked a different house since my aunt did not get to enjoy the beach at all. It just made it really hard. Elevator worked on and off as well.

Incredible House and Hosts

We loved our stay at Serene Shores. The view from the house is incredible and we had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun getaway. We didn't use all the rooms, but all were clean and had great touches. The owners were great with check in and you can tell they take great pride in their home (they should!) and in making sure their guests have a great stay.

We had an amazing stay at serene shores in topsail, NC. the hosts were extremely responsive and helpful. The house is even better than the pictures suggest. everything is new and pristine. the location directly on the beach was the reason we booked and it was better than expected. already planning our return and have told friends and family about it.

Exceeded our expectations

This is likely our favorite beach house that we have stayed at with our family. It’s a perfect multigenerational house. We had three small kids and two grandparents. Everyone loved the house. This place didn’t feel like a rental. It felt like home but better. The owner promptly responded to messages and even had a welcome basket set out for us. Everything was super clean and organized. Soft throw blankets were laid out in every room. Beds are so comfortable! The house was beautifully decorated and designed. Kitchen was fully stocked. And the view is unbeatable. My 9 year old daughter cried when we had to leave. She loved her room with the swing. I had to promise her that we would be back. My husband and I told a couple of friends about this house already. We are so impressed!!!
