We had a really nice vacation. The area was really nice. Overall the place was nice and the check-in process easy. The owner was very responsive to emails. We just wish we had more storage space in the kitchen as well as more hand towels (minor stuff).

We had a lovely visit to North Topsail. The home was well appointed and I appreciated having sheets and towels provided. The views are stunning through both sides of the main floor. Check in was good. Amy was responsive. Wifi was not good and the top floor temperature was not consistent.

North topsail vacation

Property has lots of extras, beach chairs, beach toys, games etc. well stocked kitchen. Beach towels would be a nice touch along with some extra kitchen towels. We only had one. Water pressure in the kitchen is very low, but house was beautiful and close to the beach and pool.

The house was beautiful and well equipped with nice appliances including a large capacity washer and dryer. The house was nicely decorated and definitely had a beach vibe! Loved the paint color on the walls. The room darkening curtains in the bedrooms were a nice feature. The kids really enjoyed the theater and game room. It was nice they had their own little hangout. Very easy access to the beach and pool. Amy the owner was wonderful and very responsive. We hope to return! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us!

Absolutely wonderful

Was initially little concerned with the walk to the beach & pool but it was nothing! Super easy! Loved this home, still had a view of the ocean from top deck & plenty room for our family of 12. Kitchen was well stocked, minus a mixer. My only complaint would be top floor is hot, 78* most the week. Bring a fan! All beds & bathrooms were clean & comfy. Elevator was a nice convenience & worked well. Garage/game/theater area was fun & had lots of chairs, sand toys ext also but again, bring a fan this area stays pretty hot also. Overall loved our stay! Amy was great host! 10/10

Amazing week at Burnin’ Daylight

Our family of 11 stayed at Burnin Daylight for a week of family fun on Topsail. This is our 4th time visiting and Amy’s house couldn’t have been more perfect! Clean, cool, decorated great and had many, many amenities for the family to enjoy. We had ping pong tournaments and movie nights in the basement, dancing on the porches, and a cozy bed to rest our heads after a long day at the beach. We would certainly stay again! Amy was so responseful and helpful with any questions and accommodations we had.

Family “Week at the Beach”

Effective floor plan, restful, great elevator, wonderful decks/chairs, very well appointed kitchen, WiFi, tvs, and electronics worked well(one missing remote), adequate parking, nice grill and lp tanks. On the negative, “Burnin Daylight” is on the back row of about 24 units on a tightly packed cul-de-sac - very limited view of the ocean. The ground floor space has great intentions but rendered unusable during summer heat due to owner requirement to keep doors closed with no other ventilation or a/c. The refrigerator did not perform well - it was not cool enough to keep food from spoiling and ice maker was most inadequate. On a positive, this was the best beach tap water I ever had. I’m guessing the outdoor shower (nice hot/cold water) is there to prevent tracking the beach inside and washing it into the tub drains (which were partially plugged during our stay). A screen for the outdoor shower might make it more useful and perhaps slowdown beach relocation to the indoor part of the unit. Overall good experience.

We had a wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house. It was nicely decorated and very clean. The two mirror master bedrooms were nice to have. They were large and my dad spent a lot of time on the balcony. The kids were able to use the bottom floor garage to entertain themselves. We loved having access to a pool. The elevator was super useful - there are a lot of stairs! I would definitely come back!

Beautiful beach house

This was our first time in Topsail and my friends and I loved everything about our stay! The food was good...and they also have good coffee drinks! Would definitely stay here again!!..we didnt wanna leave! the house was very clean, beautiful and spacious..one minor flaw was that the elevator was very slow but we still loved to use it. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations!

The house was spectacular! Kitchen well stocked with what we needed to cook all week. The enclosed carport was handy for storing our chairs and carts. Keyless entry worked great for everyone being on their own schedule. The walk to beach and pool was very short. Restroom by pool was great especially with a 3 year old! communication with homeowner was easy and fast. She usually responded within 5 minutes when I sent a message. She contacted us when she found out we may have had a problem with the grill. Loved the seating for 9 in the living room and at the kitchen table. Highly recommend this property!
