I booked this property via VRBO. I received payment confirmation from VRBO. Shortly before my departure I realized that I don't have any contracts or check in instructions. I also learned that the property was removed from VRBO. I sent a message to the property manager through VRBO but did not receive response. I contacted customer VRBO service, they assured me that they will contact property manager and have them communicate back to me. I did received email from property manager in 2 days. I replied asking for check in instructions - no response. I texted her (she provided cell phone in email signature) - no response. I called few times, finally I was able to get a hold of the management. I was asked to come to realty to pick up the keys. I asked for the contract or check in instructions, but I never received any of those.
I felt that my vacation with kids, which I planned months ago were at risk. Tracking down property manager, trying to figure out where should I go to pick up keys did not contribute to the positive experience.
Unfortunately this is not the end of the story. As I stated before, I found this property on VRBO. The description stated that the property has 1 king bed, 2 tween beds, sofa and inflatable mattress. Once I arrived, I discovered 1 king, 1 queen and 1 couch. The reason I booked this place and paid premium was 2 tween beds for my kids. Pool out sofa and mattress should've serve my friends who supposed to come over. The property manager stated that the description changed and offered inflatable mattress, but never delivered.
