Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay. We were unable to sleep due to constant noise from the hallways as well as overnight snowplows and machinery on the mountain. Multiple prior reviews mentioned noise, so we even brought sound machines, but they did not help.The unit itself is significantly outdated. The carpeting was stained and unpleasant, the appliances are old, and the bed was uncomfortable. In the king bedroom, bright hallway light shines into the room throughout the night, making rest even more difficult.We chose this condo specifically for its proximity to ski school, but the conditions made it unworkable for our family. This was especially unfortunate as this was our first experience at Snowshoe, and we paid a premium price. Finding a comparable three-bedroom on short notice was very difficult.The host initially responded once. When we contacted VRBO for assistance with relocating and requesting a refund, a three-way call was attempted, during which we personally heard the host yelling at the VRBO representative. After that call, the host stopped responding to our messages entirely.Due to the excessive noise, lighting issues, condition of the unit, and lack of host support, we had to relocate to another property early. We would not stay here again and would not recommend this unit to others, especially families or light sleepers.
