Since most of the reviews of this unit are already good, I'm going to respond to the one negative review, because I don't agree with it. There was no noticeable odor in the carpets, and my family is normally very sensitive to odor. There was an extra blanket in the king bedroom that was perfect for the sleeper sofa. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I will note is that it was a little warm, but we were able to stay comfortable at night by using the ceiling fans, and it wasn't a problem during the day. I don't think there's anything wrong with the heat in the unit. I suspect it's the case that all 3rd floor units in Mountain Lodge are on the warm side, simply because heat rises.
First, the facility managing this condo was very responsive to our needs. Unfortunately, the condo itself was extremely outdated. Due to the length of time the carpet has been in there was an odor that was challenging to get past. The beds did not have appropriate comforters, and there were no blankets for the pullout couch. The fridge barely kept items cold. It was not a comfortable location for our family due to the smell and lack of amenities to support our stay. The location itself was the furthest from the left, but still manageable. I would recommend finding an updated location
This property is extremely outdated. The HVAC system was not responding as we moved the dials around so we had to sleep with the windows open because the unit was so hot. In addition, there were people screaming in the hallways and this unit is inconveniently located about as far away from the elevator as possible. Lastly, the host did not respond to us or send us the pre-read about checking-in and the area, that he originally promised right after we booked. The service at Snowshoe is awful so it would have alleviated some stress had he communicated what he promised.
Will not be staying again.
