Honestly, this was such a perfect little getaway. I wish we had spent more time there and less time running around. The property was clean and well stocked, except there were no extra trash bags--small thing and not a huge deal. I wish there had been a hose available to rinse sand off things, and while there was a hose, it wasn't usable for guests. My only real complaint is that as far as I can see, no where on the online listing does it say that kids under 10 are not allowed in the loft area, but the rules of the cottage say that when you arrive. Most people would plan to put their kids up in the loft in the twin beds, but the house rules say no kids under 10 up there. I would imagine that it is due to the steepness of the ladder (it's quite steep, so it's well justified). I just wish that had been stated in the booking description. I did recheck and was unable to find anything about it. We adjusted our sleeping plans based on this rule. Beyond that, it really was an amazing little cottage and we loved it. Also, no joke about wanting to back in to the driveway. Depending on traffic, sometimes we were able to and other times we weren't, so next time we left we just had someone watch to verify the road was clear to back out. All in all, a great place to stay and experience the ocean.
