This property was disappointing, disgusting and smelled.
I was there for less than 12 hours. I refused to spend another night there. Smelled, carpet disguisting, paint peeling in bathroom, very tired. No way to clean that carpet, so shoes at all times. Response when told of issue was immediately responsive with âtextâ which seemed automated. No follow up despite 2 weeks of reaching out.
We love staying here. This is our 5th or 6th time. It is a great location and we love the beach access. The property needs updating but otherwise it is a good place to stay in South Tahoe
We were deceived into booking this property based on the photos on the listing. In reality the property was awful. The bedroom didn't have AC and was suffocating. The carpet was dirty and ripped. I need my money back as I feel I was defrauded. I have already escalated this with VRBO and expecting a quick resolution to this
I read some bad reviews of the room, should have listened. Carpets were disgusting. Stained and ripples through out. The place is run down badly. The picture used is 100 time better than the actual. Wall paper coming off the wall. Bedroom tv had three remotes and not one would turn the tv on or off or adjust the volume. PUT SOME MONEY INTO THE PLACE it badly needs it. This is coming from a VP of a hospitality company.
We have stayed at Lakeland Village for years. This is the worse unit we have stayed in. Very outdated, dirty carpet, dirty and peeling wallpaper. No basic supplies like coffee or even salt and pepper. Limited kitchen dishes- only one wine glass! Cheap paper products. No access to streaming channels- or if there was-no directions on how to do that. Do not recommend.
Our stay was pleasant, I does not have a lake view to speak of. When we got there the fireplace and lights and bedroom TV did not work, called management but my husband ended up finding the problem and fixing.
Carpets are pretty nasty but everything else was clean, the bathroom and kitchen could use better lighting. The tub was scary it creaked when you put weight in it and it looked like they had already had some water type damage in the shower area.
The people upstairs were very loud, but they did quite down by bedtime.
For the past 15 years, weâve made Lakeland Village our summer lodging for our time at South Lake Tahoe. Love being right on the beach and near to many restaurants and groceries, but away from the bustle of the casino area.
The unit is very outdated. The kitchen does not even have the basics to make coffee. You have to bring every last thing.
For the he price it was sub-par at best. The listing states washer and dryer in unit. It is not. It's on another floor. I had rented the unit for that reason. I tried to contact the manager several times and I still have not received an answer. Disappointed
