This was my first time at SPI and I was very pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the hotel and the staff. The price was very good. The hotel is very nice and the room was clean and spacious. I would definitely make this my go to hotel at SPI.

Our overall experience at this hotel was good. The only downside was that my truck was hit in the parking lot by someone’s door — they were driving a blue vehicle, and it left blue marks on my white truck. Please be cautious in the parking area. Additionally, the front desk staff could be more welcoming and friendly.

Disappointing stay—crowded pool, endless noise I booked this hotel after reading all the glowing reviews, but It was disappointing and overpriced. • Overcrowded, rowdy pool: The pool was jam-packed with guests who were visibly drunk and blasting music from their own speaker—hardly the relaxing atmosphere advertised. • No peace and quiet: I couldn’t get any sleep because people in the room above us were stomping around well into the night, and again at 6-8 am and the hotel staff never intervened. • Worst stay on SPI: I’ve visited South Padre Island for years, and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had. Save yourself the frustration (and lost sleep) and look elsewhere.

It was noisy. The hotel is run down especially for the prices they charge. Staff is ok. Our last night there there was a fight in the room next door then they decided to fight in the hallway. Cops were called they bolted and did not answer the door. If you want a night of sleep do not go here. In the morning I handed back my keys and he was surprised and said when you come back I hope you won’t have that type of issue again. This was handled very poorly. No comps nothing. So I said no I don’t think I will ever come back. This hotel was so below the Holiday inn standards I am not sure how they are getting 10/10. Do not book here they really don’t care.

The hotel could be more cleaned and less noisy. Every day we stay there we could not sleep due to people running on the top floor and people yelling. Also when we arrived they didn’t have any of the rooms I needed. Therefore I had to get another room and I’m assuming similar.
