I spent less than an hour on the premises and that only because I was trying to contact somebody at the property to cancel my reservation or obtain a refund if they could not find me a suitably clean room I have attatched couple of pictures from the room but they do not give you the remotest idea of the intense damp I ended up on the street at 3am with nowhere to go. A full refund is the very least I think I should expect Thanks in advance for your continued help in this matter
The bedsheets had been changed (although the bedsheet was too small for the mattress) but the rest of the room was filthy and damp and mould was growing in the shower

Now I appreciate it was a single room whilst I was working away but the toilets had no hand wash at all across my floor. Shower was dirty and the wifi did not work. Documents in my room for the wifi were for a router that would not appear. All QR codes to join the wifi did not work. Bed was comfortable and facilities in room were ok.

The accommodation was in poor condition, not very clean and not as described when booking. The curtains in the room did not cover the windows.There was no hot water for showers etc. This is the second time we have stayed there and on that occasion the light in the shower did not work.We only stayed one night instead of the two we had booked. We have messaged the guest house with our complaints but have not had a reply

The property is run down. No one to greet us. Had a problem with getting into our room, called for help. Person on the other emd had no idea how to help, said he'd go tesearch but never got back to us. My husband finally figured it out on his own. The liquid soap in the bathroom was watered down. Never felt like my hands were clean. What we slept on was not a mattress but box springs. Felt every spring so was an uncomfortable night. My feet were dirty because of the dirty carpet. Was a dirty sock behind the bathroom door. The picture of the outside and the inside from the expedia website was not at all the way it looked. Much more run down. It's a long way to places to eat so if no transportation prepare to walk a ways. I'm usually more positive but we had a miserable night.

The photos aren't of the property from what I can tell. Our room didn't even resemble the photos we had made our booking because of. The front door was entirely unlocked and didn't close when we tried it, even with pushing. The room itself was fine I suppose, although the carpet had a lot of stains and the pillows had marks on them. The room had a code that (assuming all the codes have the same pattern) anyone could have guessed, so I had to get the key out of the safe to keep with us so someone couldn't just guess the combination and come in. I didn't feel safe. I was glad it was only for a night. I suppose you get what you pay for with a place that is so cheap, but basic safety should always apply.

Room needs some ventilation, there was odour smell. Otherwise the room was quite big enough. Toilet was nice and clean but the shower needs repaired otherwise water was hot enough. Check-in was easy. Parking was available at front. The WiFi was not working at all you have very low internet connection in building. After correction of these issues it was not bad at this price.

First of all, its close to the train station and various busses which is a bonus. the price of the room was a bargain and provided what we needed just fine, a bed, tv, kettle, cups, shower? toilet and cupboards, so 5* for that. we were on top floor which wasnt mentioned on the room directions on the ground floor, just said to room 21 but missed out 22. there was no plug in the sink and no details for the free wifi so couldnt get internet. the checkout time advertised was 11 and the door lock details sent later stated 10 which was not good. i didnt keave till 10.30 after the cleaner knocking the door at 10.10. i shouted i wasnt ready and wasnt leaving till 10.30. so bad service there. just a minor thing, when you flush the toilet, you then hear a loud whining sound in the pipes for a while and the water took a long time to drain in the shower. i got no response at all from the property agent which i thought was bad so had to contact the agent who tried to contact the property but again, no luck. overall, bad customer service but an overal nice room at a perfect location with a safe digital lock. having a tv was great.

Property is a little dilapidated, and I found the owners difficult to contact (no check-in desk on site and key-code had not arrived when I got to the site). But it is cheap and comfortable, so you get what you pay for.

The room was dingy, you could feel each spring in the bed's mattress, the room had a unpleasant smell, the towels smelt of sewage. I could go on, but it doesn’t get any better. This is the worst guest house I have ever stayed in.

Don't even consider booking Pebbled guest house.

Our booking was cancelled while we were driving to Southampton to join a cruise the following day. I booked this accommodation last January. We've made you an alternative booking, they said, this turned out to be a single bed in a filthy room. We needed a double being a disabled couple in our 70's. I contacted them to be told there was nothing available and they would refund my money, that was over a week ago and no refund yet. We were treated abominably, they simply didn't care. It was an extremely busy week end with 5 cruise ships departing, a football match and a Pride March. We eventually managed to book into the Hilton after searching for over an hour. I was extremely distressed by the whole experience.

No cold water to basin, this room was in fit for habition. Bed springs were very uncomfortable,(mattress looked clean) stained flooring, lack of decor to very chipped walls On arrival front entrance not working, all locks to entrance and room door were loose. There seems to be no maintenance carried out in a long while.
