Staff was very helpful. We arrived late and had no problems getting into our room. The breakfast was awesome- lots of options and they even kept it open a little longer to accommodate our schedule. Great stay!

The scenery and being so close to all the wineries was amazing. However, I had quite a few issues. When I cooked, the fire alarm went off because there was no fan. The manager asked why we were trying to make it stop when there was no threat or safety issue, startled my boyfriend so much he fell, and then disappeared. The police came a few minutes after, and I explained everything to them. A few minutes later came the fire chief. The police and fire chief agreed that there should be a fan, and it was not my fault. I there for 5 days, and when I asked the maid to come back after 2:00 p.m. when we would be gone, her boss told her not to do it because we stopped in to take a quick pee...it took less than two minutes, but therefore our room should not get cleaned? I'm thankful that my boyfriend speaks Spanish, so he could ask the maid about it. She said that boss in particular was just a very mean person. It is a beautiful property, close to to all the best the North fork has to offer, and the breakfast is wonderful... However, the undisclosed fees and the disrespect by one of the managers will prevent me from ever staying there again. Oh, and the maid service knocked once and then just came in without an invite or okay on our first day...that really freaked my boyfriend out. What if we were naked in the shower? So, great place, just issues with employees and hdiden fees.
