A nice, clean hotel in the heart of Old Town with a one person receptionist. Large, clean and comfortable room in a building located right on the main square. Building has 3 floors, with each floor a different hotel. Central Square Heritage Hotel is on the 3rd floor. Entrance is at the side of the building, directly across from a gelato store. While it's not a full service hotel, you can't beat the perfect location to explore the old town and the harbor. If you are driving, an option is to use public outdoor parking Parkiraliste Stari Plac and walk 8 minutes to the hotel. EXTREMELY convenient location!

Would not stay again, would not recommend. Basic room. No basic services such as early check in or late check out available, no luggage storage and no breakfast unlike what is marketed. There were dirty glasses and one robe provided for two people. Location was very central and wine in fridge was good.

The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all that Split has to offer. The service was absolutely brilliant from start to finish, with staff going out of their way to make us feel welcome and well taken care of. Our room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The elegant decor gave it a luxurious feel without being over the top. It was a perfect retreat after long days of sightseeing. On our arrival, we were welcomed by a traditional Croatian red wine to enjoy! Whether you’re traveling as a couple, solo, or with family, this hotel caters to everyone. We would happily return without hesitation. Split’s walled city itself is a fascinating destination, combining historically rich architecture with a vibrant atmosphere. The stunning riviera, a great mix of art galleries, and endless dining options make it a dream to explore. Highly recommended!

Excellent Value Near Everything

Very nice hotel right by the Split Riva and palace. It was a very convenient location with a good grocery store next door and plenty of dining options. The room was spacious and kept very clean.

You must stay here

I would stay again at this place in a heartbeat as a matter of fact I did. Inside the rooms somethings are a little bit worn but that’s ok s it has the best hotel shower I have ever had. When you arrive at the front of the Hotel go to the door on the left side street, go to the Elevator and press 3, that is the floor the hotel and reception is on.

You can't find a better location to stay in in Split and the room was lovely. Only slight thing to be aware of is that the reception desk isn't manned past 10PM, so if you arrive later (as we did) make sure you let them know in advance so they can tell you how to get in - it wasn't a problem when we let them know.
