An amazing stay on the river. Home was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The river is beautiful, plenty of kayaks and highly recommend doing a scalloping tour if you have never done it. Saw manatees and even a dolphin right off the dock. Overall an awesome experience!
Had a fantastic time we enjoyed, swimming, kyaking the river and fishing right on property. Everything was so neat clean and very relaxing we could just go with the flow. Close to everything we could possibly want. One particular highlight was seeing a wild dolphin right off the dock. Amazing!
Such a cute place! We loved our stay on the river and felt right at home. We loved that we could paddle just a little ways up the river and be away from all housing as well.
We had the best time together in Spring Hill. The nature was vibrant and we were here for it!!!The wood storks and manatees made our days:)What a gem. I felt like a child in 1988 at a camp with my family.Thank you for sharing your home with us.
We came done to Florida to visit with family, and also enjoy the Weeki Wachee - one of our favorite places. The house is back off the river and has easy access. The entry to the river is central enough to either go up to state park or down to Rodgerâs park.
This was by far, one of the best experiences weâve had on the best canal in the Weeki Wachee area; the home has an exceptional outdoor deck and dock area and the home had a great living space, comfortable beds and adequately provided all of our indoor needs;Manatee routinely swam up to the dock at high-tide to eat the vegetation and was an amazing treat to watch! Morning coffees on the deck underneath the majestic old-Florida oak tree shading the home were the most peaceful part of our day! The host was extremely prompt with any of questions and communication and really made us feel welcome and appreciated with personal touches. We canât wait to plan another trip to this little gem in a corner of paradise! Thank you for a wonderful experience!
The house was just right, very welcoming, 2 bathrooms, lots of sleeping options and the location was amazing. We enjoyed the fire pit and the deck. Date night at the local Italian restaurant was perfect. The stable of kayaks needs some attention, but the host was helpful is getting us what we needed for four days on the amazing river. Also ask the host about launching your kayaks from Weeki Wachee State Park for the best experience!
First winter trip in retirement .Normally I have one or two weeks vacation. This time no hurry. Great location, very quiet, nice canal that gets you to the Weeki wachee river. Nice that you are in a.secluded spot, but 4 miles to anything you need.House had everything you need abc the big bonus was we could bring our dogs. Big side yard for them to run . We all had a great time
We loved staying in this space -perfect size for our little family. Loved sitting out on the back deck and the canals are so fun to paddle down. Loves the proximity to Weeki Wachee Springs and the hospital hole! The hosts were so considerate and responsive.
We had an amazing time! The house is very functional and welcoming:) Annabelle was super responsive and helpful with all the questions I had. We had a very relaxing time as well as great kayaking!
We enjoyed our stay. The location, on the canal, was great. There was plenty of room for the 3 of us and the beds were comfortable. Towels and linens were all good quality and there were plenty of crockery, mugs and glasses. There is plenty of space outside and several kayaks and other stuff to use. The reason for not giving 5 out of 5 was the need for some updating in terms of showers, decor, overall maintenence etc. Also the main sofa was quite uncomfortable. Overall it was good rather than great
This home was perfect for a long weekend get away. The kids loved the lily pad, swimming, and kayaking in front of the house. They were safe and could enjoy the water while the adults relaxed on the dock and/or patio. The main river was just a short paddle away which was lovely.
A beautiful break away from the hustle of everyday life. Our first vacation away with my 11 and 15 year old. Cut short thanks to hurricane Helene. Lots of paddling on the river. Lots of wildlife. We had a few camp fires. The dock was a beautiful place to sit and have coffee or a cocktail! The home had everything we needed. The owner was great to communicate as well! We hope to be able to make it back to continue to explore the area!
This peaceful piece of paradise was just what we were needing. This home was extremely welcoming and even better than described, well suited for our varying ages from 1 to 79. Kayaks were very popular for some in our party, and water viewing was enjoyed by all. Ended our perfect stay with s'mores around the fire pit. Hope we'll be invited to return.
We loved the location. The water pad and dock provided hours of entertainment for my kids. Loved the welcoming touches like the letter board welcoming us. We also really loved that there were kayaks there to use and we didnât have bring our own. The house is adorable and we really enjoyed our stay.
Loved our stay at this sweet little home. We enjoyed walking out and sitting on the back dock which was by far the highlight of the home. Beautiful and well made. The kitchen is fully stocked and made for easy mealtime cooking. The kayaks and water mat were a blast! We will definitely be returning. My only request is that the front door handle be replaced lol.
The house was clean and well decorated. The backyard and kayaking was unmatched. It was so charming and a lot of fun. We loved watching the leaping mullet.
Though it did rain one day, we were able to spread out and enjoy a puzzle and dinner at home. Plenty of space!
Thanks so much for a wonderful experience at Weeki Wachee!!
We liked our stay out here. The backyard space was amazing and we spent most of our time out there watching the water. We even got to see two dolphins during our stay.
We had the most fun, peaceful, relaxing vacation here! We kayaked all over and saw manatees every day! Sitting on the dock with a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening was so peaceful and perfect. The river is beautiful and calm enough for kids to kayak on. Close to what you need if you have to run out, but still feels very private. Definitely the best vacation weâve had in a long time!
From the moment we walked in, we felt an incredible sense of comfort and homeliness. Nestled in a sweet little neighborhood right on the river, the location was absolutely perfect.
Annabelle was incredibly responsive and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was seamless and enjoyable. The thoughtful touches throughout the house truly made a differenceâcoffee available, creamer in the fridge, a fresh bag of ice in the freezer, and many other small conveniences that were thoughtfully provided.
We enjoyed this space so much and created lasting memories. We will definitely be staying again in the future. Highly recommended!
