The check-in was as expected, late but not too late, greeted by the property manager. The poor experience started when arriving at the room. We were greeted by only one key card that actually worked! I, of course, grabbed the one that didn’t work; it may be rated a non-important experience but was annoying! The room itself was decent, but you could tell it may not have been checked in some days as it appeared to be clean. The wall a/c unit was left in the cool position set on low! It was warmer where we were earlier in the week, so that told me quite a bit since it’s now 18 outside and was a high of 23 for the day. The room was cold but not like super freezing, just annoying. The bathroom contained one bath towel and one washcloth, four hand towels at the sink area, and two Kleenex in the sink area. Both my gf and I were getting over a cold, so that was definitely annoying. The toilet and tub area appeared clean and sanitary. The bed appeared decent, but laying in it was not comfortable at all, mind you, sleeping in it. My gf smokes and went out to smoke, no issue at night, but in the morning, she was being harassed by who appeared to be someone who worked there. She had to keep telling the guy what room she was in, etc. She followed all signs about smoking around or by the building, so that behavior sealed the deal: we will not be back!
