Lovely little new tiny home with a covered awning, fireplace, sauna, and hot tub! Seriously an amazing place to relax and do some hot cold therapy. It's right next to the river outside Squamish with a hidden bonus: an absolutely GORGEOUS little moss-covered forest trail across a bridge nearby. A perfect weekend nature escape from the hustle of Vancouver!

We had a wonderful stay at the Riverwood retreat and would highly recommend it. The tiny house is perfect for a tiny family with kids who enjoy running in nature and playing with little dogs. The host Lindsay was super welcoming and let the kids play on her swing and run free. We found ourselves jumping in and out of the tub, sweating it out in the sauna and exploring nearby trails. A true nature retreat with the comforts of a clean/modern teeny home. Steps away from the sea to sky trail. Already planning our next visit!

The house was amazing, very clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor seating area/fire pit was also so nice. The hottub and sauna were an awesome addition and worked very well. The owner was super friendly and gave clear and easy to follow instructions but was also very laid back about everything. It was a great spot to stay, we will definitely be going back. She does have 3 little dogs who are very friendly so if you don’t like dogs then maybe specify that, but we loved seeing them.

The Riverwood Retreat is one of my favourite get aways to date. My buddy and i were in Squamish for some mountain biking and chose this as our home base...it is a short drive to town...maybe a bit muddy if you drive a pretty car...but was perfectly fine in a pick-up. The tiny home is well laid out and had everything we needed for a few days. The outdoor living spaces were exceptional...the sauna, hot tub, and covered porch and firepit were magical, and a quick walk down to the river revealed walking trails and spawning salmon. We could not have been happier with our stay. If you are looking for a quiet spot a short distance from town, then i would highly recommend!!!

This property is truly a relaxing retreat. From the Sauna, outdoor shower, hot tub, and the beautiful covered deck with a fire pit. This stay offers so much. The area is beautiful and on the drive in to the property, you have to go down maybe the most breathtaking street I have ever seen through the lush forest. There is also a beautiful hike just outside the property, and many more not far away.

What an incredible little spot! It was perfect for us and our dogs. We were able to collect everything we needed before hand so really only went out to explore the lakes. Host was super easy to get a hold of and gave us plenty of space to enjoy. Would absolutely book/stay again.

Absolutely perfect. It was quiet, cozy, and came with everything that we needed to have a beautiful stay. Having the sauna, hot tub, nearby river, and patio space meant that even when it was raining, we still had so much to enjoy. Beautiful property in a beautiful area surrounded by mountains and the river in the back of the property was amazing! The tiny home was very clean and tastefully decorated with highend finishes. The home was well equiped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The host has many personal touches throughout the whole area. We really enjoyed the covered porch area, hammock and hot tub!The host was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Our stay was overall nice, but we've found it quite overpriced at 585/night including fees. The property is not as private as it looks in the photos, there are houses to each side, and the tiny home was not on the river but you have to go through the host's backyard to access the river deck. House was clean and had everything you needed with great amenities. Communication with the host was okay. Property was dog-friendly but I'm not sure I'd recommend it for dogs, since they have to be leashed at all times otherwise they might end up on the hosts side of the property, where there are several of her dogs.

The host’s only mission is to make sure you enjoy your stay and the amenities provided. It is such a beautiful spot, and has remained true to the Squamish culture. I could not recommend this place more, and highly suggest it.

A little piece of Paradise

This tiny home is BIG on style and amenities! The home had absolutely everything we needed for a comfortable three day stay - even a lemon zester. The sauna, hot tub and outdoor shower made us feel like we were at the spa! Lindsay and her three little pups were extremely welcoming to us and our dog. Lindsay was responsive to all questions and requests. The river here is beautiful and there are trails galore! This was the perfect city escape.

Amazing!

Exactly as described, adorable tiny home nestled in the woods. Private, quiet, friendly welcome and incredibly helpful hostess. We turned weekend wedding getaway into a vacation for ourselves and were so pleased with our stay start to finish. The cozy property was beautiful, the sauna was amazing and had beautiful views all the way around, we did not swim in the river but took a walk alongside it and it was a magical experience. The forest was like walking into a mythical land. The porch was my favorite place to spend mornings with coffee and a fire in the hammock. The bathroom was an extremely comfortable size for the space and the host was a gem, providing an iron and ironing board in a pinch and a bbq for the back porch. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet, potentially adventurous getaway.

First time I have ever cut a trip short. This place is advertised as a “Cabin in the Woods”. It is in fact a Trailer in the host’s backyard. Just make sure you know what you a getting. This is an incredibly tiny converted trailer, by no stretch of the imagination is it a cabin. To make matters worse, the host was unpleasant, and at times downright hostile. She should seriously reconsider if hospitality is right for her. You are located on her property, essentially in her yard, so there is no privacy and she’s makes that very clear from the moment you arrive. Place is advertised as dog friendly but the host has a problem with dogs, telling us that our dog makes her three yapping dogs uncomfortable. Upon letting her know that we are leaving early because we couldn’t stay another night with our infant in such a small place, her response was “Good. I’m glad you’re leaving”. I think she was offended we called her place a trailer but
 it’s a home on wheels, it’s much closer to a trailer than a cabin. Charging $500 nightly for this stay is criminal. If you’re looking for a tiny home getaway, you can get much better value elsewhere. And hopefully better host.
