We had a wonderful stay at Pinnacle of St. Andrews. The hosts were very communicative, kind and very easy to work with. The house is comfortable and spacious, with the most beautiful garden which also gave our toddler plenty of running around play time. The location could not have been better, easy walk to all the shops and restaurants in town and access to the water for our daughter to explore the shells. We would love to come back!
This was a perfect location in a lovely village. There were definite blips with owner communication, but were eventually resolved through VRBO staff. We loved the property and the view! Gorgeous.
Spacious for our group of three adults. Well equipped kitchen. As others have noted, a large garden with a beautiful view over Passamaquoddy Bay (Bay of Fundy). Good fun at low tide walking way out, from the house. Short 5-10 minute walk to the shops and restaurants of St Andrews.
Beautiful property, elegant furnishings. Fantastic location , steps to shopping yet on beautiful bay with backyard overlooking the water. Dreadful communications- had no information about check until 5 hours before check in, despite multiple phone calls and emails and texts begging for response. Almost didnât go as a result but glad we did.
Property states air conditioning as an amenity. To be clear, there is only air conditioning units in the upstairs bedrooms. Downstairs you have access to floor fans only or to open a door hoping for a cool breeze. This is a nice property, well located, next to the water, very quiet and with easy access to downtown. Even though my wife and I are early stage seniors, me with some mobility issues, we remain perplexed why the beds at rental properties have to be so high off the floor. In our opinion, we feel that this property is best if adult only. Fine glass top coffee table, fine ornate furniture and keepsakes around the house may not seem the best idea for having small children stay.
Enjoyed our stay. Listing was very accurate. No messages with check-in and check-out instructions which would make communication easier. House is clean and comfortable and property manager friendly and available. Would recommend.
We had an amazing time in St. Andrews and this beautiful property made it even better. The house is well furnished and well stocked. The property is amazing with an incredible garden. The location is excellent and you can easily walk to any shops. The reason I took away a star is because there is no laundry facility in the house. With a family at the beach, laundry is an issue.
This property is well kept and clean. The location is a short walk from the retail section and grocery store. The home has a lovely big yard with beautiful views over the bay and is steps from the beach.
The living room where everyone sits however has very ornate wooden furniture which is not exactly appealing to sit on. The dining room has a very ornate large dining set which is far too fancy. We didnât want to use it in case we marked it.
Kitchen and large bedroom on main level are very nice as are the two bedrooms upstairs.
The washer dryer were locked up and not available for use so if I were to stay for a week or more I would cross the house off my list.
I had a problem getting the passcode for entry and did not receive it until late the night before boarding our plane and trying to get information on particulars of the property, communication was difficult with responses coming well after the questions were sent.
We are a group of 5 seniors. The deck overlooking the bay was the perfect place to drink coffee in the AM and relax in the evening. The house was spotless and just a short walk to downtown. A short walk in the other direction took us to the light house, Indian Point and some nice walking trails. The grounds are well maintained. The co-host is right across the street to help with any issues. A great place to stay -- quiet, peaceful and on the water. Five stars.
