We came to St. Augustine for a bachelorette party, and we were not disappointed. The home is exactly as described (which can not always be the case). The home was clean, modernized, but still had the old charm we were looking for. I was slightly expecting to have a temperature issue on the 3rd floor since it was August, but not one bit! This home was perfect and everything in its description was accurate. We even met a sweet street kitty that I would highly recommend you become friendly with. We named him George, of course. Thank you for the wonderful home that has given us unforgettable memories!
Fantastic house in a great location. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group of 5 adults. Plenty of towels, bedding, pool towels, dishes. Could use a few more baking sheets in the kitchen. Wonderful stove, living room dining table. We enjoyed the pool tremendously especially in the south in the summer. Would absolutely stay again and would recommend.
Place was super clean restored old three story home with all the modern conveniences with a small pool kids loved and the game table was a big hit also. Location is perfect on the right side of bridge. So close to all the action you dont want the other side unless you want to spend alot of time in traffic to get to st george st and all the things you would wantvto see.
Lovely vacation. House was clean. My teenage boys enjoyed playing the on the pool and ping pong table. Close to walk to St George street. But it is a decent walk.
Went to celebrate a milestone birthday with a group of girl friends. The house was fantastic with plenty of room for the 5 of us.
Kitchen was well equipped. The pool was nice but the water level was very low and it wasnât hot enough to really swim in a non heated pool. I let the manager know about the low water level but nothing changed while we were still there.
Overall a nice house. Iâd stay there again.
There was a minor maintenance issue during our stay that was dealt with promptly. The driveway is relatively narrow - the Chrysler Pacifica we had as a rental could squeeze in through the gate, but with <6 inches either side.
The location of the property is excellent. The house is beautiful and was just as advertised. We were disappointed to be woken up at 7:30 in the morning by the the landscape worker blowing the pool area of the house. It was very loud for so early in the morning.
This is a great home to stay in for all things St. Augustine. It has all the comforts of home. Itâs convenient to historic St. Augustine and has easy access to take the A1A to the beach or wherever you need to go. This historic home is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Just be aware there are lots of stairs. I would recommend for a family for sure.
We rented this house for my sisterâs bachelorette weekend. Upon arriving, we all immediately thought the house was so cute on the outside and beautiful on the inside. It was fairly clean (there was hair all on the bedroom floors that we only saw because it stuck to our white things) (there was also a stuffed toy under one couch and swim bottoms under one of the bathroom vanities). It was well stocked, the beds were great! The pool is very nice for adults with itâs smaller size (Iâd be a little concerned about small kids who like to jump in pools and play a lot in the water due to the small size of the pool). Any questions I had the contact support for right back to me and was very helpful! We had one girl forget her iPad and they sent someone to look for it and shipped it back to her!
Nice Victorian home that felt comfortable for one child aged 7 and four adults. Pool was not used because it had a lot of leaves and debris. Not sure if it had been cleaned prior because it was somewhat windy the day we arrived. The coffee table was broke when we arrived and this was reported and a confirmation of the report was received quickly. Overall a nice stay within an up and coming area of St Augustine.
Property is under management by a soulless corporation
I would have loved to experience this property but unfortunately hurricane Ian has other plans. I was unable to fly into our destination and utilize the property. Even if I could have made it in, I would have been met by a 2-3 day county mandated evacuation and I doubt that the house would be usable seeing as most of the city was under water. My frustration peaked at this management company seemingly caring more about making money than creating happy customers. When I contacted Vacasa I was met with automatic messages that I could not change my reservation to one of the many open weekends they had because no reservation changes are made before 30 days of arrival. I never even wanted a refund I just wanted to use the property at a different time but it was not well received. Every interaction I have ever had with real people utilizing their own homes or properties they purchased have been met with service and customer care 1000x better than what I received. It truly feels as if most of my interactions were with automatic processes and not people who actually care about customers. Receiving messages such as âcanât wait to see you today at the propertyâ hours after âthere is a manadstory evacuation order not go to the propertyâ further proves my point that there was and will never be any human interaction with Vacasa. Unbelievably frustrated at the handling of this situation after a seemingly act of God. I hope that no one ever has to go through what I did, and that can be avoided by never utilizing this property. I am considering never leveraging vrbo or Vacasa again and have instructed my whole family to do so we well after this experience as it seems they both do not care.
