Not what I expected for an Embassy Suites

Parking $40 plus tax! nightly which with tax $67 and change! Plus $100 a night hold on your CC for incidentals. I get using CC for incidentals, but $100 a night? This should all be upfront when booking! Rooms very uncomfortable, bed was hard as a rock, no dresser or any type of storage except very small closet to unpack for longer stay. Plus! The pool was amazing, just sad we didn’t stay to enjoy it! Checked out after 1 night.

Overall enjoyed my stay, only small things I would improve on, I feel they should keep plates/paper plates and silverware in the rooms, seems counter productive to sell microwaveable food in the lobby but not provide anything to cook it on in the microwave. For some reason there’s no lock or fan in the bathrooms, so everyone in your room can hear everything in the bathroom. The remotes for the tv were faulty, you’d be scrolling Netflix and all of a sudden the tv would either shut off or kick you back to the Home Screen. Majority of the staff were very friendly, Hunter at the Harvest and Reel restaurant was especially friendly, made a point to wave high to us when he’d see us walking around. Resort is absolutely beautiful overall, I would definitely come back

Property was clean and very convenient to local things to do. Being on the beach was great too. The pool was very good and service at the pool was excellent. Rooms were extremely quiet and very nice. A few fire pits were not working but no big deal. Evening managers cocktail hour was nice and the entertainment was very pleasant.

Nice property, large pool and deck area, lots of outdoor area which is very nice. Friendly staff, comfortable beds and linens, and the room was great. I’m giving 3 stars for all the add-on charges- (resort fee, parking fee) and no self-parking. I would prefer to have all that (use of pool, beach chairs, welcome reception) rolled into the price of the room with no surprises. And if you smoke or vape, be prepared to be cast to the most remote areas of the property like a second class citizen, with a couple hard benches, no comfortable seating for you to enjoy your smoke. Also, as a native Floridian I’ve been to a lot of beaches around the state and this one was not appealing-gritty, sharp shells mixed in the “pumped in” sand (I was told by a local). Not comfortable to walk on. A mile down the beach is the natural sand, not the same. I realizing the hotel does not have control over the sand but would not stay there again.

Prior to arriving the hotel sent a message with what was included with prices and a schedule. The valet is required, and was quoted at $36/night. At the hotel it was $40. The times submitted for included activities was incorrect, and there was a lack of helpful staff. The room we booked, was not the room we received. The room we received was not properly cleaned, and after many unanswered calls to the front desk, we went down to the lobby. They were apologetic, but then moved us into another room that was still missing the ocean front view we booked. After more unanswered calls to the front desk, and another trip downstairs, the difference in the room prices was refunded. We wasted so much of our stay just getting things settled, we were unable to enjoy the resort activities as planned. In addition to the delays and lack of follow through on the reservation, the hotel needs maintenance in many areas. The beach is beautiful, and the location is convenient.
