I waited for a call to discuss our stay. Let’s say we walked into a house with stained carpets, a full handprint on the bedroom wall, artwork that had fallen onto the couch, pool tiles that were dangerously buckled, a grill that destroyed a dinner because it is in desperate need of cleaning, a broken dryer with stinky sheets in it that took 2 days to fix, no heated pool or hot tub until 3 days in and then broke again the 5th day. A refrigerator that the repairman said was so clogged with dust and dirt that the coils weren’t cooling and we lost 300 in groceries. We booked stating 18 people were staying, there were bathrooms with no towels in them, and barely enough toilet paper for 5 days. The pictures make the place look incredible. And other than accommodating 18 people it was a disappointment.All of that to say, when I told them that they offered 100 off a 9000 stay.

This was an awesome place to stay, walkable to the beach, and with a pool for non-beach days. Our family gathered here for my father’s 80th birthday with all his kids and grandkids and all our spouses. When you all walk away after 5 days and say some of the best memories ever were made, you know it was a great trip. Enough bedrooms and bathrooms for all and great amenities. Beach chairs and umbrellas to take to the beach - it was awesome!

Great location, big and spacious

The house was well equipped with items we needed for a large family for a week. There was plenty of space for all of us and we were not on top of each other. We were here during a cold spell and use of the hot tub was really nice. Bonus, the house has beach chairs, sand toys and wagon, etc to take to the beach. Really nice surprise since we can’t travel with beach things! House is also close to the beach, we walked there every day. Neighborhood is quiet and safe!

cleanness is not as advertised or reviewed. even though the owner did keep in though they acted like our concerns were not important. House was not cleaned to our satisfaction and even after they sent "someone to clean they did not clean what they were supposed to. it is a big house, if you are not caring of cleanness and comfort then you can rent here if not, I recommend you don't. the owners keep asking me to work during my vacation time to submit pictures and text other people to help us with our issues. We did not have a good experience at all.

Fantastic family and friends vacation!

We loved our stay at this property! The description is exactly as it is in the listing. We had 2 families with 4 kids under 7 years old. The layout of the house was perfect for us and all the extra safety features for little ones gave us great peace of mind. The decor was beautiful! And the kitchen was fully stocked with any cooking appliance you could need. The owners were incredibly responsive for big and even the smallest of questions we had. The separate TV/game room was awesome! We would definitely return to this property!

Awesome Stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay. It was 10 adults and 2 children with plenty of space to play and relax. The kids enjoyed the kitchen playroom and the adults enjoyed the game room with a huge TV, minibar, air hockey table and reclining sofas. Overall a great experience and the one time we had to contact the owner she responded quickly which was awesome!

An amazing property that allows for you to have your own zone!

We had a great time, and the owners were amazing in helping us with our needs. We had expected 2 playpens when we got there, and unfortunately one had been taken from a previous guest. The owners, ordered a new one at Target for the next day and we picked it up! The only trouble we had was with how to get music going( there was surround sound it looked like) and how to make the TV's to work...LOL. But it worked out okay as we ended up playing games instead (even better) Thank you Marissa & Dustin it was amazing!

Great location, spacious house

We had a great time at this rental property. The location was perfect: a quiet neighborhood setting with easy access to the beach and a short drive to the heart of St. Augustine. The weather was great and the beach was never crowded. When we weren’t at the beach we spent most of our time outside at the pool. The spacious house made it possible for everyone to talk with each other even if we were not in the same room.

Property was overall good. Pool is beginning to need some maintenance [loose tiles which could be a trip hazard if not careful]. Very roomy- plenty of space. The kiddos [grandchildren] loved the game room and our 5 year old granddaughter played in the play kitchen for hours during the week. Those areas were well used. Our grandchildren are 10, 8 and 5. Short walk to the beach which is a little farther than I prefer, but parking was never a problem at the public parking space. May want to take extra hand washing cloths for the master bedroom on main level. We made it work, but needs more towels in that area. We just borrowed from other bathrooms.

Did not disappoint! Our party of 8 had wonderful time at the house. We took advantage of the beach close by, the neighborhood pickle ball court and made the quick trip into town a few times. We had a great time at the house!

The house is very big! The bedrooms are larger than expected. Everything was very clean. The owner answers texts immediately! The gas was out for the weekend which we were initially upset about but the top of the stove is gas and the bottom part for baking is electric. We used the stove outside to boil potatoes for Easter dinner. The owner was upset and did everything they could to get it back on. The gas company said they were short handled. We still had everything except hot water, fireplace, heated pool, and gas for the stove. The owners gave us 100 dollars to order in if we would like to. The pool is so fun! We had a home on the beach first and the owner for that cancelled and we had to take this one. The owner was so nice about the entire process of putting our trip off due to covid. We never had issues. I would say the one big negative is the price per the location. We paid more money for this house and it was off the beach by two blocks. Fun trip though !! The game room was so nice we had to pry the teens out of it. Lol We used their bikes, beach toys, and a cooler they had.
