Staff at registration was very helpful, room is so so. NO TELEPHONE to call front desk Great dog park and appreciate being able to stay with our dog Your email regarding the trolly/shuttle is very misleading....very disappointed that the actual trolly that would show us the city does not allow dogs. Was one of the reasons we choose this hotel. VERY disappointed

Not sure how this place is getting 10/10 because it was definitely not even a 5. Upon checking in there was not that warm comfortable feeling you should get from staff, which reviews are saying are top notch. Then our room had a light that flickered like it was possessed, the desk leg was so loose we had to push the chair against it to prevent it from falling. Now as for the “Breakfast buffet” which people are claiming to be the best in St Augustine that’s a joke. We got up early for this and we were very disappointed. There was no meat, no pancakes and really nothing that was impressive. The cook told me they only do meat and pancakes during the week and not weekends. So I guess the weekend guests are not as important as the weekly guests. I think this place is using the credit it received from previous owners which is not proper. All in all I wil not stay here again and definitely do not recommend to anyone. Very poor!!!

The front desk told me that it would be a full breakfast and it was not. We were told pancakes, eggs, sausage and toast. Got up the next morning and on serving eggs, biscuit and gravy. Was told that they don't serve meat on the weekends and that's crazy. The front desk staff was nice but could not provide much we waited about 2 hours for towels and wash rags. There are no phones in the rooms so you have to call from your cell phone and they don't answer the phone. We will never visit here again

Room was clean and the staff courteous, but it was hard being on the 2nd floor, since the building doesn't have an elevator. The clerk was helpful and said he would carry up our luggage up the stairs since my husband is disabled and I have a bad back. Be sure and ask for the first floor!

The front desk clerk was less than accommodating. We needed a later check in and I couldn’t find a phone number to call to check on same. Hotel.com apparently had the wrong number on their website- which is where I was to call. I needed to GO to the hotel to check when I got to town. The front desk clerk told me it was not his fault- when I was attempting to have the site corrected. Negative and defensive with his response!!

BE AWARE of daily parking fee of $10 when booking at this location. That parking fee was added without notice. Check in time is 4pm, which is late. The room was clean, but needs some updating in a few areas. The housekeeping maids were loud and obnoxious every morning at 7am. As a consumer, i pay for services to be rendered. A 3 day hotel stay with the usual parking included. Nobody should be crammed with charges for parking, which should be i cluded as part of a hotel experience. The hotel response was that every hotel in St. Augustine charges for parking. I've booked hotels at St Augustine before and this is first i ever heard of a parking fee. Just call before booking a stay here
