The condo is spacious and very comfortable for 2-4 people. We enjoyed sitting out on the screened balcony which was very quiet, private and nicely landscaped. There were a few small items that we needed in the kitchen because we were there for an extended period, cereal bowls and some silverware just so that we didnt need to wash them every day.I would recommend bringing your own linens and towels. Most of the ones supplied are worn and thin. The sheets are very thin also. Check in was a major problem. Both the code to get in the gate AND the code to get into the condo did not work. The manager had to come reset the door code to let me in. It was after 10 PM....We also had a huge problem when the upstairs condo had a water pipe burst one night on the last week of our trip. The condo management company was quick to relocate us to an upgraded condo in another complex. They handled it quite professionally. It was just annoying to have to pack up everything for our extended stay at the same time trying to avoid the workers taking care of the flooded area.Overall I would recommend the condo. We just had some unusual circumstances occur.
Nice Condo,No sunshine Patio overlooks a white Fence!
Dead Bolt Door lock code I was given would not open door. After 4 hours of waiting and booking a non refundable motel we was able to get into condo! The online showed a leather recliner, there was just 2- leather couches. The master bedroom Mattress was to soft.So we slept on the single beds in front bedroom
Clean condo right on A1A. This building is closer to A1A than the beaches but loading up the car and parking in the lot next to the walkway to the beach worked just fine for us. If you are walking from the building its about a 15-20 min walk to the beach gate. If you drive and park it cuts that in half. If you want to drive on the beach and park that is right next door on Dondeville.
Pools were great and well kept along with the entire grounds of the location. The kitchen is functional and had everything we needed for breakfast and lunch, we didnât cook much but several pots and pans were available.
There were 2 beach chairs and 2 small beach umbrellas on the screened in porch. Quiet neighbors and I never saw any dogs off leash or owners not cleaning up after their pet.
We had a great time and would stay here again!
The unit was fine. I had no expectations of fancy based on pictures. The view is a wall but we knew that. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was fine with the exception of having only 2 bowls that could be used for cereal or salad.
This unit is a good way away from the beach access. Would not recommend for families of small children. We had to take our car part way to drop off tent, chairs, coolers etc for the beach, then park and STILL had to haul it all a good way to actually get near the sand. There really needs to be a âloading/unladingâ zone. We had to walk around buildings and through grass for the straightest option.
Also, you have to take the gate key card to the beach with you to get out to the beach. We didnât know that so the first time we had to double back. It would have helped if that had been explained up front.
Getting in through the gate the first time was also difficult. The email gave us a code. When we entered that code, it rang to a voicemail, that you couldnât hear through the intercom. The only way I actually got in the first time was through the kindness of another person who had a key card and opened the gate for us.
There are also people who sit out on the balcony overlooking the parking lot all the time. That was a little creepy.
The beach and that area is beautiful
Very nice clean room with everything I needed, campus grounds & all buildings very well manicured & maintained.
Just as notes for future renter's & possible improvements 1) the location from this unit to actual beachside is quite a good distance. By no means is it "waterfront". Be aware prior to renting if walking is an issue. There are other buildings that are closer to beach although I didn't have a map of the campus prior to renting. 2) queen bed mattress in master could be updated, there is a foam topper on bed (to me didn't look like the type for a bed), no mattress pad over the foam only fitted sheet that didn't fit properly. I was stiff and sore every morning. 3) the code for door keypad was way to long, making it hard to key it in and get door open in ample time. 4) there is a card to be used to gain access to front gate and boardwalk at beach, unfortunately only 1 card is provided, so if there are multiple people in your group and 1 person wants to go one way & the other person another it makes it very difficult. I ask about that prior to booking- no real resolution before hand.
Now - none of these issues are a total game changer on renting this unit, just info I wish I had of known in advance. Especially the distance down to the beach. I'm definitely in the older stages of my life and that part made it hard, even driving my car down as close as I could to boardwalk it still was a very long distance. As I stated this is a nice, clean unit and safe facility,
Family has a timeshare up the road about a mile. We had no desire to be around n a two bedroom condo with 10+ people so we searched for our own and we were lucky enough to find this gem! Everything was excellent from beginning to end.
Itâs a 1/4 mile walk to the beach and they only give you one key to the boardwalk gate so if you have others with you going to the beach at different times then you are going to be doing a lot of walk.
Beds were smaller than expected. In smaller bedroom it was hard to get into closet with bed closeness. Plus half the closet was a water tank.
The 2 light/ shelving pieces were very small, cheap and wobbly and without room to put personal items on.
TV in living room was tiny.
