Lovely location, but a bit disappointed with hotel

Pros: Beautiful location, free sunbeds and use of kayaks
Cons: Service wasn't great, restaurant menu is quite limited and could be expanded and be a bit more flexible - why no "local food"? (roti, curry goat, etc)
Location: Very secluded location with beautiful beach. Apparently there are some hiking/walking trails nearby, but not much else.
If you're looking for total seclusion, this is the place to come. The beach and location really are beautiful, with lovely, warm and calm water to swim in. Snorkellers may be interested to know that there's pretty much nothing to see underwater here, just sand. Although total seclusion may be what you're after at La Sagesse, it can also have its drawbacks when it comes to eating, since the restaurant menu is somewhat limited and doesn't change at all. If you want something else to eat, you'll either need to have your own transport or take a fairly long taxi ride to a different area, since there really is nothing else nearby ...Friday night at Prickly Bay Marina (about 45 minutes away) is a good option - live music, good atmosphere, great BBQ! The accommodation is fairly basic and perhaps a little tired in places, but still very clean and comfortable (though it did got a bit warm with just a ceiling fan and no air conditioning). The bathroom felt a bit awkward, with only one small towel rail to hang all towels, and not much space to put wash-bags or toiletries. Service was a bit mixed - some of the staff were great and very helpful, others not quite so much, which was a bit of a shame, as everywhere else we'd been to in Grenada, the service was fantastic.
