We left a night early because of the uncomfortable beds and early checkout time. Checkout is at 10 am. Beds and pillows were not great. Ants dotted the floors and countertops. The dishwasher was broken. The walls were dirty, the blinds on the skylight looked like they could fall on us at any time, and it seemed like everything could use an update.
The property manager was kind and said he could get someone over to fix the dishwasher. He offered to get paper products. He also offered to come spray for ants, but we were already settled in and didnât want to be in the chemicals.
The blankets felt like they hadnât been washed in a long time. There were laundry pods, but the laundry was far away and didnât work well. The TVs were tricky to use and we had to change the volume by using a toggle at the bottom of them.
The house was well stocked with dishes and there was a two person pickleball set available for use. We brought our own set, but it was a nice touch to have them there. Pool towels were also available for use. It was nice to have two bathrooms, but the showers didnât put out much water. It kind of felt like showering in a trailer. The tub spouts were powerful, but the hot water ran out quickly.
Pickle ball courts were a lot of fun! There were two swimming pools, but we didnât swim in them. We stayed at this resort when it was the Green Valley Spa. Itâs not the same as what it used to be. It was roomy, but we wonât be staying here again.
