Staff was friendly. VERY competitive room rates. Our room was a pet friendly room. Needs to be refreshed but I know that they have been restoring rooms the past couple of years. Several restaurants are within walking distance. We stay here every year on our way to our winter home in CA.

The most important thing about any hotel is it's cleanliness and this hotel was the most clean of any hotel of it's type that I have ever stayed at and on that basis alone I can recommend it. My one complaint was the internet connection. I struggled to stay connected and the connection (in my room at least) was very poor. It may have just been my room, but it was a problem for me.

Didn't have breakfast. One of the best run hotel/motels I've stayed in, in years. Not fancy, but everything works and is super clean. Even the shower drain works! Have stayed here multiple times.

Apparently I was one of the first guests to experience the refurbished rooms in the NW section. They were nice in a timeless classic way, but not in a trendy, modern way. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower was disappointing with a small showerhead spitting out a narrow stream of water like a garden hose. I quickly decided I would not attempt to shampoo my hair as it would take forever to rinse it out. The breakfast was mediocre with some small yogurt, sausage and egg patties, and the usual carbs. Still, any complaints must be weighed against their bargain prices--less than half of most hotels in the St. George area. This place is centrally located with some real privacy on the back side and would have to be rated in the top 3 in this area for VALUE.

The worst of it was check in. We arrived at approximately 12:30am after driving for 16 hours, and we told the man working as much. Someone called from a room to complain about something, and he had us stand there waiting while he took this extended phone call - we were exhausted and he should have put the caller on hold. Additionally. the room was in poor condition (though mostly clean), we have never seen more damaged walls that were painted over, and things were hung crookedly. The door was barely sealed to the outside and let in a lot of light, and I can't imagine how cold it would be in the winter. I would NEVER stay here again!
