Sink stopper missing, desk chair broken arm & other chair seat was shot both need replacement. Let Jay the night clerk know and miniatous was supposed to be there. Room was not what we expected. People above us making noise like bowling balls being dropped into the night and jumping or stumping. Would not recommend this hotel till it gets updated. Girls in the morning very friendly and helpful. Kid who checked us in needs training. .

Nothing fancy but it was convenient for the St. Ignace ferry to Mackinac Island. The pool and hot tub were not in good condition so we didn't use them. Room was fine, beds were comfortable. Staircases to second level were rickety but it was nice to have the car parked near our room. Staff was pleasant, breakfast had decent self-serve options. Pretty view of sunrise and Mackinac Island. Adequate for a quick stay in the Straits area. The double room (2 queen beds) is large enough for families.

Wonderful quiet stay. Beautiful view of Mackinaw Island and lakeshore off personal balcony. Clean and well maintained. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will come again! Right on Main Street with ferry terminal and shops and restaurants. Very walkable.

The beds were not very comfortable. They were like sleeping on a board. Our room had a odor of dog urine in the carpet as pets are allowed. Dog feces not cleaned up well on the property.

At check in, they tried to tell me i hadnt oaid yet. Had to show my receipt then he said Oh. No apologies. The room toilet seat was broke. Holes on the towels. Terrible hotel. Days Inn has went down hill.

Peaceful Lakefront Stay with Room for Improvement

I stayed at the Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham St. Ignace Lakefront and overall, it was a decent experience. The room was clean and surprisingly spacious, which made settling in easy. Being right on the lake was a highlight—the view was absolutely beautiful and added a peaceful touch to the stay. The staff was courteous, though I didn’t interact much beyond check-in. Wi-Fi worked fine for basic browsing, no major issues there. One downside was the free breakfast—it was only available for a short two-hour window early in the morning, so I missed it entirely. It would’ve been nice if they offered a few complimentary snacks throughout the day for guests who aren’t early risers. While it wasn’t a perfect stay, the cleanliness and location were solid. I might consider booking with the same hotel chain again, especially if they improve a few of the amenities.
