The first floor lakefront room was a wonderful treat. A small bonfire with the beach and lake just 50 steps away. Highly recommend.

Room was nice for my dogs especially ground floor. But first nought we noticed that our bed sheets were stained with a random substance. This was prior to us going to bed. Room smelled of mold, AC barely worked. We had to run the humidifier they so graciously left in our room.

Great outdoor area, beach and fire pit, plenty of seating. Clean and comfortable. Very hospitable staff, wonderful options for continental breakfast. The only not real complaint but a bit of a downside is (at least on the ground floor) you can hear the people walking and using water or toilet upstairs but the sliding glass door access to the beach and fire pit more than made up for it! I would stay there again if I’m ever back in the area.

Nice view

Didn’t like the barking dogs on the first floor, and was happy that the front desk moved us to two rooms on a different floor. Because the first floor is the pet floor, I think maybe that’s why the carpeting didn’t look very clean. We loved our balconies overlooking Lake Huron, however, and the beach was a nice place to hang out.

This hotel was more than I expected—exceptional! Clean, quiet, and comfortable. I loved the rocking chairs around the beautifully landscaped fire pit and lakeside views!

The staff was very pleasant, the breakfast was excellent, views were great, they have a firepit in courtyard an have a fire every night. Some things were a little outdated/worn like the carpet in the room but nothing major. Over all it was a great stay.

Room service walked into our room twice hours before check out. The second time my husband was in the shower! When we did check out I told the clerk at the front desk. She should have offered some type of discount. We would have been happy with 10% to buy a cup of coffee
