. LOVED IT!

A moment in Nature with just the right creature comforts We had a lovely stay in St. John. The well appointed tree house had everything we needed. First the host was quite considerate and sharing all the information we would need to make the most of our stay. The house was quiet and really cool. Very eco friendly and glam put together. We loved the Myers and Trader Joe products after long days on the beach. The peppermint was refreshing. The beds were comfort and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pouch was a favorite as the views were so relaxing. This place is totally as advertised. Our son loved having his own space. It was just a good amount of space for a family of 3. If you don’t get around well, I would not recommend. I was happy to get my steps in everyday getting to the car. Had to be a bit careful coming down from loft bedroom. Which was fine for us. This place is not for someone with mobility issues. The walk to and from the house was magical. With orchids strategically positioned on the trees along the way. The storage had everything we needed: Umbrella, chairs, snorkel gear and a cooler. All the ingredients for perfect beach days. I would come again. I recommend for a forest and beach vacation. After being on the beaches all day it was great to get away into the mountains. Everything was about 20 mins away which was fine to ensure we saw the whole island.

Amazing Place

This place was amazing. Perfect place for my family to relax between all of the adventures St. John has to offer. Night time was especially relaxing and peaceful with the sounds of nature. I could hangout on that screened in porch forever.

Slice of heaven

The house was exactly as posted! It had all we needed for our stay and days lounging on the beach. We slept to the sound of tree frogs. The cottage is literally in the heart of the rainforest with complete 360 degree privacy. The beds and couches were cozy, the enclosed porch was perfect for additional space, and the AC worked perfectly. We truly loved our stay and the property manager and owner were as kind as ever!

The cottage was exactly as advertised, 100%. It was everything we wanted and meticulously designed to be enjoyed by our entire family. The hanging swings on the screened porch became our daughters most favorite part of the trip. Thank you!

Cozy Cottage for a Paradise Getaway

The cottage was great for our short getaway and was true to the description / pictures. Cottage was well appointed with everything we needed and the property management did a great job checking in with us to make sure all was going well. We had a great time in St John at Verde Cottage! We were aware of the stairs to the cottage and that it was located in a tropical setting and could be prone to attracting critters (geckos, spiders, bugs, etc.). We did everything we could (ran AC, put all food in refrigerator, took trash out daily) but we still had these friends join us in the cottage. It didn’t spoil our stay, but if these bother you this is something to be aware of.

Verde Cottage exceeded our expectations. The property was immaculate and peacefully located in the mountains away from the hustle and bustle. Meredith and Katja were so accommodating and made our stay as relaxing and easy as possible. Can’t wait to come back!

Verde Cottage Paradise

The Verde Cottage is exactly as it is show in the picts and the description including the stairs. The property manager was amazing and addressed a window and water issue quickly and with great follow through via texts. I’d stay here again in the future. Lovely place and super clean upon arrival.

Seclusion in the hills with a view

We loved staying at Verde! It was perfectly situated in the "trees", yet a beautiful view peeked through of the water! House was clean, had everything we needed and close enough to town if we needed anything but far enough to feel secluded! The bed was SO comfy (downstairs) . We would definitely stay again!

Nestled emerald in the tropics

This is the PERFECT island experience cottage! Nestled in the jungle, a ten minute drive to the nearest local watering hole, and only feet away from one of the Virgin Islands National Park trailhead, this is the place to stay! If you're looking for a place to sit back and relax and listen to tropical sounds, while you read, in a screened in porch... look no further! Water adventure minded? Only a 20 min. drive down well marked roads to the most beautiful beaches you will ever see. This place is a hidden gem! You will need to rent a car, but options might be limited, so definitely plan ahead. We stayed here four nights and loved everything about the Green Cottage! Our hostess was extremely helpful and made sure our stay was a positive experience; knowledgeable in all things local, provided informative and timely answers to all our queries. A private abode for the treasure seeker in the Caribbean!
