i’m typing this review as we are leaving the resort They tell you to make reservations on the app for almost all restaurants but the app doesn’t work. They tell you to see somebody to make reservations, but all the reservations are full. Everything you order on the menu is going to be out of stock, The room will smell like mold. The ac vent will lock on your next at night an give the a wild migraine the next day. The food section has barely anything local, if I wanted cheeseburgers and hotdogs I could have stayed home. The price is so obscene compared to the quality of care given at this resort... 10/10 would never go back. Avoid avoid avoid...

Let me share the most horrible experience that i have receive from the famous Royalton resort. I am currently placed in room 10112 and my family party of 4 consisting of myslef , husband and two toddlers age 3 and 2 checked in on 02/19/26 at approximately 4:00pm. We came into our room around5:30 pm.The first thing we were greeted with was a very obnoxious smell in the room.Wasn’t sure what it is my husband open the balcony door so that the fresh air could come in and the odour maybe will go away.It never did!!!When we walked into the bathroom area alot of water was settled on the floor we immediately called the reception area.They said they will send maintenance. Maintenance did show up at the time we were about to shower our first child at 6:30 pm and the conclusion was that he come back the following day on 02/20/25 at 9am because i believe he said there is a leakage from the bathroom and we have to be out of the room So we agree. However we went ahead and shower both kids and the floor got extra flooded. So we called reception because after spreading numerous towels after towels on the floor the water just kept accumulating. Everytime i called reception after 6:30pm to 7:45pm they told me oh they will call me back. Nobody did within that time so i decided to walk to front desk to ask for an update. First suggestion i got from a front desk staff is that the manager said we should not use the over head shower which we did not. Issue never solve and room was flooded

The beds in the room were horrible - I developed excruciating back pain as a result of the mattress not having enough support Food was awful - app did not work and the lady who booked restaurants was only available from 10-3 so not an option if you had excursions. I asked front desk for assistance but no one got back to me. My husband developed food poisoning as a result They gave me a resort credit and didn’t give me instructions on how to use it so when I went to pay at the end, they said that I couldn’t use it and had to pay full price Selection of food was very limited. We eat seafood so the lunch grill had no options Would never stay here again, especially for the price, I would expect better quality

Horrible customer service. The application for the resort is not operational. Making any reservation impossible unless you physically walk in between 10am-3pm. So if you are out exploring during the day making any reservation for the restaurants impossible. We tried texting, calling and speaking with management after hours, no luck. The buffet selection is very bland and lacking staff. Every single day… there was no bacon for breakfast. You had to wait 15 minutes if you wanted and the very little they did bring out was gone right away as there was line. Similarly for dinner, the grill station didn’t have any staff for 3 consecutive nights. So if you wanted fresh grilled beef, pork or chicken out of luck. When asked when it is going to staffed, everyone just shrugged their shoulders. We received $300 resort credit. Since we couldn’t do any reservations in restaurants due to above mentioned issues, we opted for private dinner, which was close to $400 but we were assured that we can use all of our credits towards it. When checking out, the only applied $30 and refused to honor what was agreed upon during the booking. Stay far away, definitely do not recommend to anyone.

The bathroom toilet was not tettered to the flooe it rocked everytime we used it and it leaked. We. Called the front desk and wss pretry much ignored. We called again. They sent someone andnhe did nothing. It was fixed 1 day prior to us checkingnout in disgust. The food was terrible. Management staff was awful and dismissiv. I would never recommwndnor stay there again so so so disappointed. We endednup leaving early. Inhave also requested a refumd for the 2.nights I left onnthe books.

Would have been even better if the Catamaran excursion (booked early through Nexus excursions through the resort) followed up and either ran the excursion the next day as promised or refunded our $$ promptly so that we could have booked a different one.
