Would rent this property again. Very clean and comfortable! Communication was great and had quick replies. Only input is there are only mirrors in the bathroom so would bring small table mirror to get ready if lots of people are getting ready at once. We absolutely loved our stay and I highly recommend renting this house.
Place is exactly as described with an excellent fenced in yard, perfect for the pup! Kitchen is adequate. Incredibly clean and organized. Neighborhood is a little in transition, but we never felt unsafe and walked our dog around. 20 minute walk from Forest park. Adequate parking in driveway and street.
The place was perfect for 3 moms and their kids. There was plenty of space and entertainment in the basement for the kids. The couch upstairs even fit everyone for a movie night. The dining room table was big enough for dinner and games. We loved the dead end street because it was quiet. Parking on the driveway was good, but also with it being a quiet street we could park in front of the house easily.
My family gave this their top rating home based on all our visits to St. Louis. We travel frequently to visit our college student and he loves when we can bring the pup along. The house is comfortable and spacious. The big kids loved the game area in the basement. The fenced in yard is a plus. The location is ideal and has a number of great nearby restaurants. Excellent communication throughout the entire stay and we hope to stay again next Fall!
Great dog-friendly rental, quiet neighborhood, convenient location
I chose this house for my family's spring break trip to St. Louis so that our dog could come along. It was great for him having the fenced yard and we really enjoyed the house and location. Weather wasn't great so we didn't walk anywhere, but the drive to Forest Park and the zoo/Science Museum was quite short, and the drive to the arch and other downtown tourist attractions wasn't much longer. The house is well-appointed and lovely, beds are comfy, plenty of space, nice kitchen, and attentive hosts. We would definitely stay again!
We had a great stay in St. Louis! This location was perfect for us- we walked to the zoo, to get coffee at Sweet Emâs, and to Forest Park a few times, and were just a 10-15 minute drive from anywhere else we wanted to go! So many fun things for young kids to do here! The house was clean and spacious for our family of 5. We had everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!
Picture this, 4 senior siblings on a surprised staycation. Home was exactly as described. Clean and comfortable. The ladies were very impressed. Everything was easy enough for them to operate.
Comfortable house in a neat and quiet neighborhood
Prompt communications with owner; easy check-in. The living and kitchen areas were open and roomy. Enjoyed the large dining table. The kitchen worked fine for us and was fairly well-equipped. (Note: if you're used to meal prep with a good chef's knife, bring your own.) Bedrooms were on the small side but adequate and comfortable. Plenty of hot water too. Quiet and pleasant neighborhood with easy-enough access to main roads and highways. Would stay there again.
A short family vacation in St. Louis. Our stay at this property was just perfect. As our days in St. Louis were busy, the property provided us with the perfect place to start our days and after our busy days the perfect place to wind down and relax. The property was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property. The property owners were also great to work with. They checked in with us during our stay as well.
The home was exactly as described, was very clean, and the perfect set up for our three kids and two dogs. The property owner was very easy to communicate with and was quick to answer any questions. We would definitely stay again!
So Clean. So Quiet. So Furnished. So Perfectly Located. Love Love Loved our stay!! I could go on and on with compliments about this property. Will absolutely try and stay again on future trips to St. Louis.
I had little contact with the manager before or during the visit. With a crawling infant in our party we were aware of the crumbs that were on the floor when we arrived and the exposure of the wires on the bottom of the refrigerator as the plate was missing that normally covers them. Also a baby gate was available but was too small to cover the opening of the stairwell. We did see a new one downstairs but had not been put into place. We were glad for the basement though as the horns blew for a tornado spotted when we were there! Being a dead end street in front of the house we did enjoy the quietness of the street!! The location was very close to the zoo. It was roomy for the seven of us and we had a good time. Thank you! There is another home for rent next door for added information
The neighborhood is really quiet, within walking distance of a few restaurants, unfortunately, there aren't sidewalks the entire way there. The house itself was really clean, you walked in and it smelled like lemons. Which is preferable over the floral scents most places use. So if you're like me and floral scents drive your sinuses crazy it's a nice change. We didn't spend a ton of time at the house other than late afternoons. Our youngest loved playing darts. We brought our own dog cage, but the hosts also had one set up in the basement for use. The only complaints I have are superficial the back patio door sticks, so my daughter's were unable to open/close it. The cold air return/register is outside the bedroom doors and it's very loud as the furnace seemed to constantly be running. This was probably just an us issue, but the a/c was set to 77. We turned it down to 66 just to cool the house down for when we'd return and by late afternoon it'd still be in the 70's.
We were there with our son, daughter in law and grandsons, exploring St. Louis for spring break. The house is much roomier than it would appear from the outside and very well equipped. The location was perfect...we could walk to the zoo, park, coffee house, wonderful pizza place and if you go, highly recommend Sonny's Margarita! Liz was wonderful, very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.
Perfect getaway close to all the hot spots in Dogtown and the Hill!
This was a perfect, pet friendly get away that was so close to hot spots in Dogtown and the Hill! Spacious, clean updated house with plenty of space for families and pets! House is located on a dead end street so traffic was local. Lisa was very prompt in answering any questions and was so easy to work with! The Martins will be back soon to stay!
Great floor plan and utilization of space on main floor as well as basement; comfortably furnished; quiet being on a street that dead ends. Proximity to Forest Park and the zoo, museum, etc is great. We very much enjoyed our stay and will book again next time weâre back!
We loved the location of this property. It was roomy, clean, comfortable, and in a quiet location. Restaurants and bars within easy walking distance in this quaint neighborhood. Forest Park, Missouri Botanical Gardens and The Hill District were a quick drive away. All adults in our group stated they could see themselves living here. Thank you for opening your property to us. It was perfect!
