Underwhelmed

There was no receptionist as I waited 33 mins for someone to finally show up. The kitchenette was not prepared as the refrigerator was in the middle of the floor with the door open with dirty towels laying in it. There were also dirty dishes in the sink. As I travel often, this room was in pathetic condition. Bed was clean and comfortable though, thank God!

We stayed here a couple years ago and had a great experience. When swim brought us back, it was an obvious booking. We could tell that it wasn’t the same as it was a couple years ago. The internet connection was terrible. It kept going in and out of connection. Breakfast was small. We didn’t eat there has there wasn’t enough selection. The beds were incredibly hard. Made it very hard to sleep on. The room was clean and staff was great though. You could tell that this was a privately owned hotel though and not a major hotel chain. The location of the hotel was perfect which is why we booked it. I think next time, we will be staying at a surrounding hotel. If you are looking for a cozy hotel, this is the one. But we are just looking for something more put together and steady internet.

Room was good, comfy bed, clean. The jetted tub was a nice addition. Breakfast included hot items such as sausage links and patties, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and waffle maker. Coffee available throughout the day.

Consistently good and in a nice, safe area

I consistenly choose this hotel due to proximity to where I need to be, and great rates. Unfortunately the room and service I requested could not be accommodated due to limited staff on hand - everyone had the flu. Not the fault of the hotel - I will stay there again.

Overall a good place to stay

Very nice overall. Service was great and staff were friendly. The breakfast was above average and the shower pressure was good. Our only complaint is we were in the closest room to the lobby, which meant we had smokers outside in the gazebo shooting the breeze until past 1 AM and the staff starting to setup for breakfast by 6.
