Avoid This Hotel – Needs Serious Attention

The room smelled musty and like urine. We had to sanitize everything ourselves because surfaces were sticky and clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom was falling apart — peeling paint, broken vanity, missing toilet bolt, and dangerously loose handrails. Housekeeping didn’t clean our room until three days after we first requested it (and only after asking twice). The elevators were dirty, every ice machine was out of order, and the TV was nearly unwatchable. To top it off, we saw a giant cockroach by the pool — staff admitted it wasn’t the first sighting. The only positive? The staff were kind and friendly. Unfortunately, great people can’t make up for a filthy, poorly maintained hotel. I will never stay here again.

Good accessibility to downtown BUT hotel needed things fixed (room doors that didn't close unless leaned on or slammed;holes in walls; faucet fixture loose or missing;ice machines not working) very, very, very disappointing :(

Very Disappointed

The hotel did not have any ice makers on any floor that worked. At checkout, I mentioned this fact, and they said they had ice at the desk. No one told us this until checkout. Lot of help that was. There was no parking which was not mentioned. I had to park in a garage 3 1/2 blocks away. This was in a dark, desolate area. Walking back to the hotel after dark by myself was not ideal. The girl that checked us in was not friendly. I could barely hear her and she was not helpful. The pool area had no towels on both days we were there. The door to our room 231 did not shut good and was hard to open and close. You had to shove it with your shoulder. I was very disappointed with this hotel for the money that was charged. I will never stay there again.

Its Ok to stay here but not worth the price

For the price for the room,this place was actually disappointing. Parking is a hassle!! Front of hotel is dirty with cigarette butts and not nice looking. Surprised to find our view was the indoor pool so couldnt open the blinds which was disappointing. The room phone didnt work. The thermostat cover was broken so couldnt adjust the room temperature. There is no closet, so that was a letdown. Would be nice to have been able to swim in the pool but it was full of kids all night long. Should have an adults only hours so we can enjoy a calmer setting. The bed was comfy,the room was a good size.

Will not be going back. Definitely not worth the money. Our room was still dirty, it was falling apart, there was mold in the bathroom, the room smelled horrible, the pool was gross, and the breakfast "buffet" is not worth $12/person.

I do not recommend this hotel. TV and phone did not work. Used mobile phone to call the hotel if I needed to contact front desk. Toilet barely worked. Took two days to get sheets and blanket for sofa sleeper. Had to take sheet off bed so roommate could have something. Every day, sometimes multiple times, we had to get our room keys activated again at the front desk. (I saw other guests doing the same thing.) The hotel restaurant was barely open, and it wasn’t open every day or during the day. Breakfast was not always available in the morning. If you want room cleaned you have to request it each day. The ice machine was only working on one floor. Could not always connect to the Internet. The good things … front desk staff during the day were friendly, the fridge worked, the room was spacious (king bed with sofa sleeper) and the lobby is nice.

Tv in room was broken after a couple of attempts to get it fixed or rooms changed we gave up. Only one elevator works, stairs were not an issue for us but if someone couldn’t take the stairs they would be waiting a lot. The staff was very nice but they may be understaffed for the rooms and maintenance. Hallways were dirty and the room wasn’t very clean.

We won't stay here again. We stayed in a suite with two air conditioners. One of the air conditioners could not even be plugged in. Even though we reserved the room for 3 people, there was no bedding for the 2nd bed. When we called the front desk they told us we would have to come and get the bedding. There was no hair dryer in the room. However, when we called the front desk they promptly brought us one. Only 1 out of 3 elevators worked and we were told from another customer that it has been that way for along time. While the property had it's issues, most of the employees were very nice.

Property was great along with staff. If you are booking with Expedia let it be known, they don't have breakfast, no bar and the restaurant is only open on weekend and this week the owner decided not to open this week. So every meal with a family of 4 which included 3 kids had to eat out for every meal. Beware of expedia's false advertising. Call hotel to verify info is correct before booking.
