Hotel is just lacking. Bedding had rips, towels are old and lifeless, rooms and bathrooms are stark and a reminder of how lush and stocked with amenities they once were. But this hotel remains a reminder of stripped down services which existed during Covid. While other brands and properties have found solutions, this one seems to be stuck in time with no upgrades, upkeep or any offerings besides a comfy bed. Not horrible, but not worth the cost.

room was clean. toilet seat was peeling which was odd. what appeared to be a door in the bathroom on the vanity was not properly latched and fell off when leaned against so we ended up latching it into place. think the biggest issue was that check-in was at 4 and we arrived around 4:40. waited in line to be told our room wasn't ready - guests in front of us were told this too. thankfully we weren't in any hurry, but it was still frustrating that we we didn't have a room ready. the room ended up being ready a little after 5pm. staff was friendly enough.

Front staff not friendly or helpful. Waited in line for long time both checking in and out, even with the reservation. Room had filth on the wall vent and curtains. Shower leaked, faucet leaked. No light bulb in the overhead light. Waited for some time before being seated for breakfast. Ordered biscuits and gravy. Biscuits were frozen when severed. Our meal was comped, which it should have been. The only positive was the valet was very kind, courteous, and helpful. This Marriott location was the worst stay we have ever had at any other Marriott hotels.
