Opal Sands Resort offers 230 accommodations with a safe and complimentary bottles of water. Rooms open to furnished balconies. Beds feature premium bedding. This accommodation has kitchens with coffee/tea makers. Bathrooms include bathrobes, complimentary toiletries and hairdryers.

Our check in was just the beginning of a fantastic week. We arrived just a few days after my wife lost her job of 33 years. Although retirement was in her future, that was a great place kick back, relax and go thru all the mental trauma a job loss can bring on. From the moment we pulled up the driveway, we were immediately directed to the lobby for check in. Our bags were collected and were sent to our room as soon as we had received our room number. Although our request for a room away from the elevators on deaf ears, the sound was not bad. Spa services (at Opal Sol) were exceptional and the use of the third floor pool was our secret hideaway for a good part of our trip. Concierge service was excellent in lining up a round of golf and dinner reservations were handled in a very professional manner. Our room view (when not at an ocean-side bar) was spectacular. Watching the day's sunset was just the relaxation that my wife needed. We look forward to our return either later this year or next spring. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

It's not what i expected for the money! And the cleaning lady left a dirty spck on in the room on the couch, and couldve done a better job cleaning the room. when I told the receptionist all shebsaid was you want me to send somone up to clean your room? No I think they shouldve cleaned it roght when they had the chance. Theres no microve in the room but theres one in the hallway and the hallways smelled like food especially "popcorn" all day everyday. At one point it smelled like sewers. Over all the sister property "opal sol" is much nicer. So yea. Definitely not worth all that money.

Beautiful Views

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at Opal Sands. The view from the balcony overlooking the gulf was amazing. Our room was very clean, bed comfortable. We also enjoyed dining at Seaguini in the morning (breakfast buffet) and for dinner. I would recommend the hotel for a laid back vacation or those looking for an upscale family friendly stay.

The check in staff at Opal Sol Tower were welcoming and very helpful, but I can’t say the same for those in the Opal Sands Tower. Other than the confusion of finding the front desk from one tower to the other, overall the stay was pleasant & the rooms were clean, is key for me. I’d definitely stay again.
