Very clean, nice location. We contacted management because the trail to the beach was overgrown, and they had a landscaper come out within a few hours. I think the outdoor grill needs replacing, as it wouldn’t get very hot even with purchasing a new propane tank. That would be my only complaint. They have beach chairs, beach towels and even beach toys for kids. Overall would recommend.

Family friendly stay

We enjoyed our time visiting this property. The space was all that we needed, the pool and hot tub were great on the days the ocean was cold. Location was in walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We would recommend this property to other families.

You won’t regret it!!

This is our second year here and it is a great location. It is very clean and the kitchen is well stocked. There was plenty room for all 10 of us, especially because the floor plan is so open. He pool is kept clean and there is a beautiful view from the balcony. You won’t regret staying here!!

Great week at Eventide

Although the weather was cooler than we expected early in our stay (no fault of the house!!), we enjoyed the house and the location. Easy access to an uncrowded beach, plenty of resources close on the main drag, several great restaurants, etc. For the 6 of us, the house was very comfortable, and wasn't "overdone". We've rented many beach houses over the years, and some try too hard to make it like a resort. This house is one of our favorites from the past several years. No complaints, would rent this house again in a heartbeat!

Good stay but..............

Overall our stay was good. We had problems with WiFi but the agents worked to get it sorted, it took three days! The worst thing about this stay was the length of time and hassle to get the deposit back. I was told it would take four to six weeks (it really shouldn't take that long, I had another deposit from a VRBO property returned in 2 days) After 4 weeks I emailed and was told it was being processed. Then an email saying we had taken or damaged some knives so would not get back all our deposit. I denied this vehemently and found it upsetting and insulting, they rechecked, the knives were in a drawer away from the children's reach! I was then informed my credit card they held was out of date so phoned with a new one but this clearly means they hadn't even tried to return my deposit before this. This felt like a struggle to have my $750 returned but I have now got it. Sad how this can leave a bad feeling about the vacation.

Perfect house!

We had 4 adults and 3 kids in this house and it was perfect size. Loved the easy access to the beach. They provided everything we needed and more. They have some beach toys, chairs, and boards in the garage and the kids loved that. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone staying in the area. We loved it!

Do not pass this one up

Eventide was just perfect for our family. Plenty of space in the living room/kitchen area, kitchen was well equipped, pool and entire property was extremely clean, comfortable beds and easy and quick access to the beautiful beach and clear gulf waters. What a perfect vacation spot for us!!!

10/10 recommend!

We stayed here with 2 other couples (6 adults, 4 kids). This was our first time staying in a house instead of a condo and it was so worth the money! I have 3 kids (ages 6, 2, and an 11 month old baby) so having a pool to ourselves and having our own pathway to the beach was so convenient. My kids don’t last long on the beach so it was nice to be able to go back and forth from the beach to the pool so quickly. The house had a shower outside to wash all the sand off of us. They had a ton of beach chairs, beach toys, 2 canopies, a beach cart, boogie boards, and they even had one of those things that you can dig a hole in the sand and put it down and fill it with water for the baby. The beach wasn’t crowded at all. There is a public beach access right next to the house but it never disrupted our vacation. It was a quiet, relaxing area. It’s right down the road from John’s Pass which was great! The pool was clean and the perfect size for the kids. My 6 year old could touch in the shallow end and the deep end wasn’t very big so he was able to swim in the deep end without floaties and he did fine. The house is well maintained and clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. They provided beach towels. There is an extra fridge in the garage which was nice. There was a booster seat, pack n play, and baby gates provided. We were able to watch Netflix on the rokus provided which was great for the kids. The customer service was great. Anytime I had a question they were quick to respond to my emails. One of my kids left a baby blanket behind and they mailed it back to us! My only 2 complaints: 1. The queen bed in the room with the bunk beds was so hard and uncomfortable. My 2 boys ended up sleeping in the queen bed and my husband and I slept on the bottom bunk of the bunk beds because it was so bad. 2. The spa would heat up for a few minutes and then it would be cold again. (Yes, I followed the directions provided). Overall, I would 10/10 recommend this beach house!

This property is perfect for families looking for a breach vacation spot. The house was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The house was spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Great location, too! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Eventides!

Eventide is an Oasis!

Staying at Eventide Oasis was a wonderful vacation. We were four adults and two young teenagers. This home was very clean, well equipped and everything worked. The people at NextHome were always prompt in answering questions about electronics/ pool, etc.. We were impressed that pool tech people came 3 times during our 10 day stay to check the Ph of the pool. Everyone loved the easy private beach access. The pool was used throughout our stay. The home sets quietly and with great privacy. Publix grocery is an easy Uber and John's Pass offers shopping, food and water rental's of all kinds. This property is on our "all time" best list and hope we can enjoy again in the near future.

Family weekend

We enjoyed our stay at the property. The location is secluded, yet close to attractions like John’s Pass. The home accommodated our family and there was plenty of space to spread out. Only negatives- the bed in master bedroom was incredibly loud and creaky getting in and out. The other negative was the lack of info to operate the pool and spa. The directions to engage the pool heater were outdated. Had to contact property manager. Property owner quickly called and addressed the issue. Wish there would have been directions to operate pool/spa remote. Also, the pocket door to the guest bedroom was difficult/very loud to operate. Overall, our stay was memorable and we would love to return in the future.

Majestic views

Excellent location. Close to inlet so your less than 5 minutes away for a fishing excursion. Close to Resturant’s. House was in a quiet area. Fully stocked and super clean. Home in excellent condition. Pool was very clean. The views from the living area are magnificent

Beautiful house, can’t wait to stay again

8 of us 30-something moms came here for a 4 day get away and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Furnishings/bathrooms are beautifully updated and new. The house had everything we needed and didn’t leave the house once. We enjoyed h th e pool during the day, grilled and cooked dinner in the evenings, and enjoyed wine on the beach by moonlight at night. Sunset views were incredible. The house provided beach towels, beach chairs and pool floaties. It is within walking distance to a few restaurants which is a great option as well. We can’t wait to book this house again.

Beautiful beach house!

We stayed here for a girls trip to celebrate our 40th bday milestone with 6 of us! This beach house was beautiful and perfect for our group. We loved the panoramic view of the ocean from the deck and kitchen/living room. Plus we loved the convenience of being right on the beach plus having a pool and hot tub. The house was decorated so cute and fully equipped with everything you would need. We also loved being so close to Johns Pass which had so many restaurants, shopping and activities to do. We will definitely be back to this house
