It's a nice quiet place to stay. The beach is not too busy and it's really close. Easy to access to the stores or other beaches if you are interested to discover the gulf coast.
Staff was very flexible with a late arrival. Room was as described- two comfortable beds, kitchen with everything we needed, and clean. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. Pool was awesome. And walking to many places. Would for sure stay again!
I really, really loved my stay at the Sea Jay Motel in Treasure Island. The whole property radiates a fun retro, mid-century modern vibeâthink Golden Girls meets classic Florida beach motel. Parking was easy, and both the rooms and grounds were spotless. My room had a good-size fridge, microwave, Keurig with coffee and cream, and two complimentary water bottles. The shower is small but fits the historic charm. Location is perfectâjust a short, easy walk to the beachâwith a phenomenal pool and classic Treasure Island views. Communication was quick and friendly, and every staff interaction matched that can-do energy. As a self-confessed hotel snob and usual Hilton loyalist, I was blown away by how clean, stylish, and welcoming this place is. Canât wait to return

If you want a nostalgic Florida mom-and-pop motel stay, look no further. The Sea Jay is a clean, tidy, well-appointed property in the heart of Treasure Island. The rooms, kitchen and bathrooms are spacious. Classic old school 4x4 bath tiles, btw. Mattresses and pillows super comfy. Great AC.
The pool and courtyard is a pleasant place to dwell. We rode the two beach bikes around the gorgeous Isle of Palms and Isle of Capri. I highly recommend meandering in the neighborhood to take in the classic Florida beach cottage architecture with all the very cool breeze block design. Itâs an easy walk to the beach for a swim and thereâs an outdoor shower at the inviting pool. Plenty of umbrellas for shade. The Pinellas beach trolley stop is just over the canal and one block. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. You can also safely walk the beach boardwalk at night.
The staff; Rene, David and Joey are the most welcoming and approachable people you could ever meet. We never felt like a bother even though we had frequent questions. There were 3 of us in a one BR suite with two queens yet there was ample room for a fourth.
I will definitely stay at the Sea Jay again!
We had a very nice stay here. It is an older motel, but well cared-for. It was very clean and well supplied(coffee pods, dishes, etc.). The staff were super nice and friendly, and it was NOT party central even on a summer weekend. It is an easy walk from the property to the beach, and there are many local shops, dining nearby.
We spent 3 days here. The room was spotless clean and the staff were very nice and extremely helpful. Very close to the beach. I highly recommend Sea Jay motel. Will definitely stay here again.
