Girls trip

Great place for a friend's trip in the gorge! Our biggest complaint was that the fire pit is on a major slope which makes for an uncomfortable bonfire situation, it's hard to relax while sitting at an angle. But the cabin was great and clean, the hot tub was clean and relaxing. Kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook a few meals. Check in was very easy.

Fine stay

House is great. Location easy to find. Everything in the house was easy to find and we needed nothing extra. The bed was comfortable in the first-floor room and the bathroom was very nice. Very quiet and secluded. The hot tub worked great and was easy to use. Only real issue was the paperwork included that explains the use of the TV, etc. Very dated. It goes through how to connect to the Satellite for viewing and after about 30 minutes trying to use the various remotes to try and connect, I finally went outside to look for the dish and there wasn't one. Someone needs to update all the paperwork in the book. It should say that the tv is only used via apps and internet, which is fine, but get rid of the now useless information in the folder.After those first 30 minutes we had a great visit and would definitely return.

Girls Getaway

Spent very relaxing getaway with my 2 friends. Cabin was well maintained. Kitchen was well stocked with items (even a crock pot!). Hosts instructions were clear, and helped us have a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Lovely RRG Cabin

Great cabin! Clean, with a well-supplied kitchen. Comfortable arrangements. The property itself was nice, though we didn’t spend time outside in the actually property. The hot tub was very adequate for a rental.

The grounds were beautiful, although there was a strong sewage odor near the fire pit. Septic field may need to be checked out. The cabin itself was lovely but it could use wall mounted hair dryers in the bathrooms. We did have to hunt down our towels and finally found them in the dryer. Great location to experience the gorge and all it has to offer.

Weekend Getaway

A group of friends and I stayed at this property late July 2024. Overall, the location was incredibly private and peaceful but also convenient. The cabin itself was very well maintained. There were only a few minor cleanliness issues, such as the basement and some debris in the closets. The check-in and out procedures were very straightforward and simple. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a convenient, private location for a small group. Internet also worked well.

Perfect Getaway Cabin

The cabin is in a convenient location near town and the highway, yet offers privacy from neighbors as it sits on top of a ridge. Communication was excellent, and the cabin was both clean and spacious.

All we needed!

This property was great! I do wish it had been a true 3 bedroom, but accommodations were wonderful. It was stocked with everything we needed to make our stay convenient. And the location was exactly what we were looking for, which was peace & quiet. Although it was very secluded, the Wi-Fi worked great for streaming & cell coverage. Activities were easy to get to & plentiful. If you’re looking for a great getaway, I highly recommend!

We had a good trip

The property is nice. There's some finishing details on the cabin itself that need to be looked at, I'd say just from the cabin getting older. As for the items provided definitely take a roll of paper towels and make sure if you plan to cook you bring everything you need. The cabin does not provide any type of cooking items except a few pans and untesils . One thing I was disappointed about is the fact that you can hear the highway while sitting outside. It's pretty noisy so keep that in mind of you are looking for a quiet place. I wasn't expecting that. It's close to a few restaurants but a little further from things than I was expecting. Overall we had a good trip. Thank you.

It was just ok

The area was beautiful and we enjoyed local scenery and hiking, but the cabin was just ok. Not worth the money they wanted per night. 1. Check in was tough, the instructions we received via email were not correct. They changed the lockbox for the key so it was the wrong combination. 2. Main living room and kitchen were in good shape and pretty clean. That was a plus. 3. All of the towels and bath mats were still in the washing machine and dryer. We had no idea until the last day or so when we did our own laundry. 4. Basement floor was filthy. We hung out and played pool one night and our feet and socks were black. 5. Half of the outlets in the house didn't work. I didn't mess with circuit breakers but that was a nuisance finding outlets that worked. 6. Master bath had a basket where they keep an extra roll of toilet paper. The inside bottom of that basket was furry with mold, it was pretty gross. 7. Driveway isn't marked as a driveway. The road leading to the property comes up to the house and wraps around the back side of the house as a driveway. No through traffic but there aren't any signs so we got repeated visitors who would pull all the way in only to find out it wasn't a road. One was a big truck and trailer, that was fun to back out. 8. Neighbors have dogs that bark non-stop. Honestly you can't hear them inside, you only hear them if you're trying to enjoy the porch or the hot tub, you know.... relaxing. Overall rating was a meh....

Cozy Cabin with Comfortable Beds

The cabin was clean and very spacious. The hot tub is new and very nice, it located behind the house. This is the first cabin I stayed that have very comfortable beds and the hot water didn’t take long in the shower. The WIFI works really well and I even have cellphone reception around property. My feedback to the management is to update the Check In instructions because seems they have not been upgraded in a while. We got the wrong code for the door but when I called the management office they picked up the phone right away and gave it us the right one. The instructions says to bring towels as well but all the bathrooms had cleaned towels. The only negative is the kitchen doesn’t have enough pots and pans if you are planning to make a full family meal, otherwise it is equipped with everything else. We tried to use the fireplace and found that it was broken so it would had been nice to have that updated in the description or being warned in advance. Otherwise this cabin is amazing and we spent nice peaceful weekend.
