Overall, the condo was adequate and met basic needs but I wouldnât book again, particularly in the winter.
We happened to arrive in Tahoe in the middle of a snow storm which made finding the condo quite difficult, the written instructions were not clear and we had to knock on neighbors doors to find the condo, in the dark. Not fun.
The snow drifts were roughly 5ft tall and we had to crawl on our hands and knees to get out of the house. As others have noted, there are a lot of stairs and the entire stairwell fills up with chest-deep snow. When we reached out to the property manager they informed us it was our responsibility to clear the snow. Luckily we are young and fit but this would absolutely be a problem for older couples or groups with young children.
Though the house wasnât dirty, it wasnât particularly clean either, towels were still in the laundry when we arrived. The fireplace didnât work, and the couch definitely needs to be replaced.
The location might be convenient for summer activities but we found it to be a bit out of the way for skiing. All in all it was fine but wonât be back.
