Don’t stay here

The pool was not open. That’s the whole reason we were there was the pool. It was 87 degrees outside. They had all winter to clean the pool and they didn’t do it. It was scummy and disgusting. They did nothing to make it right. Breakfast was also very mid.

I did not sleep well. It could be me, but the room was either too cold-I slept in socks-or too hot-I was kicking cover down and trying to get a comfortable spot on the pillow.

STOP!! Do not waste your money here!!

The room was dusty. Bathroom smelled of soured laundry. Toothpaste spit residue on the faucet. Spilled water in the hallways and elevators but instead of mopping staff just put wet floor signs up. Fridge was covered in rust. After going back and reviewing the reviews that gave them a 8.8, I’m assuming that hotel staff wrote most of them. It was more like a super 8 or motel 6 than a Holiday Inn. Do yourself a favor and save your $200!! We were so grossed out that we considered sleeping in our car. Towels smelled sooo bad that we left them on the floor hoping that the room would be serviced and fresh towels provided. No service. In fact we never saw a cleaning person or cleaning cart the entire weekend.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. They canceled our reservation without notice because they were overbooked. We showed up late at night and there were no rooms. Only third-party reservations were canceled. Expedia needs to investigate this because I am sure it is not in compliance with the hotels contract.
