The staff was helpful and courteous and cleaning seemed at least on par. It's an older building, which gives it some charm, but it is not updated in many ways. The breakfast buffet was not free, but was well done with quality and variety and a good value, with staff serving beverages, etc.

The room was clean (the bathroom smelled especially nice), the beds were comfortable and there was even a small refrigerator in the room (we had not seen this in the description so it was a nice surprise)

Hotel Was beautiful and very nice historic area. Was disappointed the lounge was not open felt site should have indicated limited hours as I chose this hotel believing I would be able to have light dinner in house without leaving g hotel since my husband is handicapped. Fortunately things were I walking distance but town is not wheelchair friendly due to hills

This hotel was centrally located in downtown Staunton. The room was large and clean and the pool/fitness center was very nice.

First time staying at this Hotel. We were happy overall with two things that kept us form giving them all 5's. Parking garage isn't well lit and had a homeless person who appeared to live in the lower level near the entrance. Bathroom tub could have been cleaned better.
