This place was definitely not worth over $250 a night. I could have stayed at the Steamboat Grand for a little more. Definitely beautiful location, but the cabin was very run down, not real clean. When I got there there were huge piles of dog poop along the walk to the cabin that I had to clean up. Also dog pee everywhere on the snow on my porch. It would be great for $99 per night, but not worth more.
We were a little apprehensive about this property due to scarce details and no reviews yet. But overall it was a very nice experience. The "neighborhood" was absolute winter wonderland bliss, very cozy and peaceful. Cabin itself was well stocked with blankets and dishes and firewood, but the kitchen was a little shotty (had to juggle 1 electrical outlet between microwave, toaster, and stove light). Perfect for a pair of couples, or young family. You'll want good snow tires or 4wd/AWD in winter, the little roads in and around the community are totally snowpacked.
