There are several things to like about this house and it is evident that the owner has worked hard to provide family accommodation. The kitchen is modern and well fitted; the downstairs bedroom with an en-suite shower room is comfortable and convenient, particularly for someone with limited mobility. The living room has a large sofa and a large television with many options. Although we didnât sit in the dining area, it would have been nice to use the sliding door and open it out into the kitchen.
Upstairs there is a reasonably sized double bedroom and 2 smaller rooms which would be fine as doubles for children. Towels and bed linen provided were all clean and fairly new. I would recommend asking the host for the access codes to the bedrooms as the doors slam shut when the windows are opened and there are no other door handles! The house was very hot when we returned from a full day out-there are fans, however.
We didnât see the host but he did stay in contact and we were able to exchange text messages. As two of our group are obsessive about cleanliness, we spent a lot of time ensuring the property was clean and tidy when we left.
We stayed here for two nights whilst attending slam dunk festival. It was within a good distance for us to travel by taxi and the property itself was very well decorated. The beds were super comfy and having 3 toilets in the house between a large group was a bonus. Thereâs a large garden space to enjoy the sunshine and plenty of space to socialise in the house also. We throughly enjoyed our stayed and will book again if we decide to do slam dunk again next year.
The host was also very responsive to any questions we had. Thank you very much for a pleasant stay.
