We were in room 301, a suite facing the canal. Amazing view of the water and historic section of the city. The room was lovely and very quiet. King bed was very comfortable. Everything in the room was clean and functional. The TV in the living room was difficult to connect an HDMI cable to, and the TV in the bedroom was a real challenge, but it was possible for both. I needed to practice on the living room TV first. We were able to play our movies and shows. The bathroom was clean and spacious. There was plenty of storage and an 220V outlet. Wi-Fi was good and reliable. The location of the hotel was excellent in the heart of the city. Most sights were walkable, and the tram system was convenient using Google Maps. Breakfast was great. Many choices both traditional and local. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke English. We would definitely stay there again.

The location is great for the water view, but kind of noisy because of the nonstop boat’s engine (for the light sleepers) breakfast is good ( except omelette) .. Staff are super nice. Don’t expect dinners within short walking distance, and the Hotel is kind of far from the airport, but close to boat tours.

Great location! The superiors with sea views were large with stunning views. The breakfast area is large but crowded. The bathrooms were overall on the small side but it did have a walk in shower. The snacks they put out every afternoon are a nice touch. No conceirge so the front desk handles all request and issues. My biggest issue was they didnt have our bed configuration we had requested but they did move us the 2nd day.

If you're planning a trip to Stockholm, the Radisson Strand is the perfect hotel in every way. From the friendly and helpful front desk staff to the unimaginably comfortable bed and pillows to the beautiful breakfast that's beyond compare, our stay here was a 12 out of 10. It's a 15 minute walk to Gamla Stan's historical sites, restaurants, and shopping and a 20 minute walk to Djurgarden Park and so many incredible museums. This is a hotel not to be missed. The Radisson Strand delivered the Scandinavian vacation of our dreams.

Scary situation made right

Our first morning. I woke up to something that sounded like someone trying to get into the room. I shrugged it off, but a little while later someone was trying to force the door open, banging it loudly and nearly breaking it. My partner woke up and confronted the person trying to get in. The person had their hand through the gap in the door trying to undo the lock. It was an extremely scary experience to wake up to. However the hotel handled the situation amazingly. A mistake had been made and by the time my partner got downstairs they had a plan to give us a room upgrade and free breakfast. While I wish we didn't wake up to someone trying to force their way into the room it was great to see the hotel take responsibility and do the right thing. Also the location is AMAZING.

Great location. Great views from the premium sea view room that we had. Lovely comfortable bedding for a good night’s sleep. Nice helpful staff. Many sights and restaurants within easy reach. Water and cookies / sweets at the reception was a nice touch.
