Lovely clean room in downtown Stonington, with great views from a common deck overlooking the harbor. Short walk to shops and restaurants. We'd love to stay longer next visit to explore more of what Deer Isle has to offer.
Right on the water! Perfect view of Boat races if you are in town for them. I was worried about being right on Main Street, but very little street noise in the town even during a big event. The deck is huge and lots of places to sit. The communal room had some nice snacks to help us keep our 6 year old happy. The town of Stonnington is well worth the visit and a perfect spot to relax. ONLY complaint is I'm not used to having to shuffle a car around due to parking rules. Parking on street is plentiful but you have to move it at least once a day in the Summer. Overnight lot on Pink street is very small and was completely full the time we were there. Not a big concern, but just something to keep in mind. 100% already planning to go back and stay a few days. Wifi works well and cellular data was pretty strong in the area.
My family of 4, kid's aged 18 & 16, planned a trip for April vacation and to visit Acadia National Park. We stayed in the Isaac Evans. The room was spotless, and exactly how it was described. The hostess was incredibly helpful and the welcome lobby had everything you cocould possibly need. I would love to visit again when everything is open in the areane
We enjoyed our stay and found the bed to be very comfortable, the room is a good size - comfortable for 2 adults, the location was amazing, we were able to find our room and park with no issues. We were pleasantly surprised to find two local restaurants right next door, and a small convenient store. Everyone was friendly. We thought we had an ocean view but faced the street instead, even so we were able to get out on the deck and view the harbor.
We had a lovely time walking around the streets of Southington ME, although my husband thought he booked a place in Southington CT. Only a 6 hours of traveling difference. BUT, we had a peaceful time in the in the beautiful harbor. Thank you for your kind hospitality.
The listing is very accurate, the location is very convenient to a good restaurants and the beach. The porch has a great view and we used to have dinner or just hang out. Parking on Pink street is very close so is okay it doesnât have its own parking space.
As advertised the location in Stonington is close to food and activity and views from the deck are awesome. The room itself was a bit dark and hot but cooled off with open windows and fans running continuously. I was comfortable enough to use the balcony as my sort of personal room extension.
