This cozy cabin offers all the warmth and privacy you could ask for! Open dining, kitchen and living space. Two porches and a balcony with a view. Comfortable and cozy for a romantic weekend for two, yet big enough for a family getaway. Five acres of nature to explore around the cabin and a one acre pond to sit by and enjoy the firepit.

The cabin has an open floor plan dining room through to the living room. Two cozy bedrooms downstairs and a bedroom upstairs with two twin beds and a loft area for the kids to hang out and play.
Smart TV, internet and WiFi. Kitchen is stocked with several appliances, including a Power XL Air Fryer, Crock Pot, Ice Tea/Cold Brew Coffee Maker, K-Cup Keurig Duo, and much more!

Just minutes from Mark Twain Lake. Enjoy the day boating or enjoy many of the local attractions. Historic Union Covered Bridge, Florida Winery, Jellystone Water Park, and Historic Hannibal are just a few of the many options the area has to offer. Brochures are available at the cabin.

Cabin is protected by Ring Doorbell Camera. This is used to verify your arrival and to verify the number of guests in your party.

I got the pleasure of meeting Vicki (host) during our trip! She’s such a sweet lady. I messaged her asking when the trash runs because our can was full. She responded within 10 minutes and said she’d come pick it up. She was over shortly after that. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The property is very well maintained and well kept. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. They even stock the house with a large variety of coffees and cocoas while also stocking a large basket with varieties of chips. When Vicki came for the trash she also checked to see if we needed anything stocked (toilet paper, paper towels, shower needs, etc.). Overall, you can quickly tell that she wants her guests to truly enjoy their stay. It’s a very welcoming home.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Stoutsville Cabin. Our daughters loved the games and Wii upstairs in the loft, as well as catching/releasing the bluegill in the pond. My husband and I drank coffee (delicious) on the upstairs deck and fell in love with the extra touches that made the entire property feel like home. We can't wait to book again!

Beautiful place to stay and relax.

My kids and I stayed to be close to the lake to put the boat in. It is in a perfect spot, taking us ten minutes from the cabin to be in the water. Nice and peaceful when we got off the water to relax. We had fun playing the board games that are there in the cabin.

I kinda want to say how terrible this place was so it won't fill up! We had an amazing time, the house was wonderful, everything was clean and great. There were fantastic little touches. We came to spend a day on the lake, but plan to come back in the fall and maybe winter.

We had a wedding in Paris,MO and wanted something more than a hotel room. This property is such a charming home. Decorated beautifully with everything you need for your stay. The owners went the extra mile with several nice complimentary items. The home was immaculate and the grounds were groomed as well. If we are in the area again we will book it!

Labor Day Trip

Communication with the owner was wonderful, I reserved months in advance and any time I had a question she was right there to answer them. The house is in fabulous shape and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked for appliances. There is a wonderful gas grill out back. Beautiful house and we will be back.
