Overpriced, increasingly shabby, complacent

Cons: New management
Hilton used to be the premium hotel in Strasbourg. Unfortunately, while it still charges premium prices, the rooms are shabby, old-fashioned and lacking in power sockets, so bring an extension lead and adaptons. Worse is the overpriced food. Many of the glasses at the breakfast buffet had lipstick on, we ordered a side-salad, which looked as if the left over garnish from other meals had been scooped up into a bowl, and the additional cost for side orders was exorbitant (10 euros for rice instead of potatoes)

Freezing experience

The heating was not working properly and, since the hotel is made of glass, the temperature in the rooms very low. The staff was very nice and proposed us to move to another room but they informed us that they was aware of the problem and that was present in all the rooms. Additional heating equipment was no more available because it was already delivered to other customer.

Es war alle soweit gut. Nur beim Frühstücksbuffet könnte es besser sein. Das Personal ist zwar freundlich, aber sie sind zu wenig aufmerksam beim Nachfüllen der Speisen oder beim Tische abräumen. Von 3 Kaffeemaschinen funktionierte nur eine richtig. Das fanden wir schade. Sonst war alles gut.

Das Hotel sieht recht runtergekommen aus. Badezimmerarmaturen kaputt, altmodische Innenausstattung, Blutflecken an der Bettdecke um ein paar Mängel aufzuzählen. Frühstück war wiederlich. Gläser haben nacht etwas komischem gerochen… nie wieder
