Nice location and beautiful cabin with plenty of room. However, the cabin could have been cleaner. Very dusty plus ceiling fans covered in dust. Dead bugs everywhere (Tis the season but might want to figure out where they are gettin in at) I tried to clean them up but became a daily struggle. Drive up to cabin is curvy but not bad at all. Overall it had everything we needed for a nice long weekend in the hills.
The stay was amazing. A little nook, off the beaten path but so worth the stay. The views and scenery were amazing. Everything you need for a nice relaxing week to reenergize
I have a 36 foot enclosed trailer that we haul side-by-side in and my friend has a 46 foot enclosed trailer. We were able to get them both in there by backing up the driveway. Both of them did get a little damage from the steep switchbacks on the road. I donât recommend taking a trailer longer than 26 foot.
The property was beautiful we enjoyed the deer and we also got to see some turkey's! The house was nice and clean ! Thank you Vernetta for letting us stay in your home!
Beautiful home with a peaceful view! Plenty of amenities to keep us entertained while we settled in each evening. 6 adults and 3 kids ended up coming on the trip and we had plenty of room for everyone! We spent a lot of time on the deck watching nature!
Overall good stay. Not as big as the pictures made it seem. Only complaint is Ad says wifi available in house. But there is no wifi. And basically no cell service.
Cabin was beautiful, so peaceful and cozy. Plenty of room for the whole family. The wrap around deck and seating was perfect for family visiting. My 4a.m. coffee under the morning stars was heavenly and the deer came to visit everyday. Plenty of sleeping spaces and two full baths. The cabin has everything you need for a great stay!
The owner really needs to explain the road to prospective renters as we found it very, very difficult to navigate. It is a one small lane trail with a little gravel on it with very steep sides and many switchbacks. We had a camper van and had to back up and take a run to make it up some of the steep hills. We ended up changing plans so that we didnt drive the road after dark. House was very nice but water has to be hauled in so we didn't use much water not knowing how much was left.
It's a lovely cabin with all comforts necessary. Well-stocked kitchen, clean and fragrant sheets and towels, a stack of tourist guides, super quiet and cozy location in a forest, daily visits from Bambi and her mom. We loved our stay! Thank you, Vernetta!
Enjoyed being away from it all and super close to both Deadwood and Sturgis. Favorite thing about the cabin was the wrap around deck-lots of deer viewing and sitting by the propane fire pit.
Beautiful and comfortable home tucked away in the forest was the perfect spot for our family of 6 to relax. Only a short drive to Spearfish Canyon, Deadwood/Lead, and Sturgis area. Would love to have stayed longer!
We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The hosts were wonderful and quick at getting back to us, if we had questions. Lots of amenities for preparing meals, spacious seating options, nice outdoor space, great views, lots of games and movies for indoor activities, showers were hot, good pressure. Comfortable place. We had a relaxing time here! Thanks for sharing your home with us!
Great location! We loved the cabin and the location was super convenient for what we had planned. Had a little hiccup with the water but the owners were quick to respond and went above to make sure we were taken care of.
