The room smelled like stale cigarettes. The hot water didn’t work when you turned on the shower. The sink was clogged and the stains are the sheets were nasty. Bed was not comfortable. I guess you get what you pay for.

I skipped the breakfast as I wanted to be on the road before 6. The room was adequate for sleeping. Cleanliness as adequate. I diddnt want to spend 300 to stay on Rapid City so I chose this place for right around 100. The convenience store next door was helpful.

It was ok, besides breakfast was terrible... it says 6:30-9:30am yet every time I went in whether it was 7am or 9am there was little coffee the breakfast guy would just tell you to tip the coffee crafe forward to get the last cup then still doesn't replace it with new coffee. The 2nd day I went in at 9:10 and he told me it was closed he closes at 9. The only options were white bread, a bagel, waffles with only lite syrup and butter. Was very disappointing there wasn't enough for even 2 people to have coffee much less anything to eat.

The room smelled like mold and mildew and stale cigarettes. The carpet in the room and on the staircase was dirty and stained. The front desk person was very unprofessional. I didn’t even stay the night. I checked in and left immediately after seeing the condition of the room. I even requested a refund because I didn’t stay there. They have not given me my money back yet.

Theyre definitely doing some upgrades which look great so far. We enjoyed our stay. Even our picky kids loved it. The staff was fabulous, friendly, and fun and the room was just what we needed.

The assistant manager very very rude abd moody. We were staying another day and because i thought i was already charged for the 4 nights with expedia she got irrate and cecked me out and said goodbye u arent staying another night. Very unfriendly. There are no phones in the room or no fire detectors. Unsafe conditions. Not happy with the way we got treated.

I recently traveled through here twice. The building benefits from its older construction in that the walls and floors have concrete, making the rooms much quieter. However, the plumbing and conduits present constant noises. Many of the rooms are connected, making the neighboring occupants intrusive. Most upsetting is the terrible cleanliness of the towels and bedding. Several towels were discolored at best, with the most dicusting being stained and flat out soiled by feces. The bedding on the second trip was blood stained. The indoor pool and whirlpool are good for children. But the disgusting issues with towels and bedding demand immediate inspection by parents.

It was pretty inconvenient how to get to my room. I had to go from the parking lot to the pool room, then up 2 flights of stairs. This was incredibly difficult when trying to maneuver around with luggage. The staff during check in tried to check me in under a different name. Then told me the room may not be clean. The carpet was disgusting, in all areas. Especially the staircase. The area is very loud in the day and night. There was a dog barking constantly even though this was supposed to be no pets. The only plus was the need was comfortable.

People were super friendly, but the rooms were dark, pillows very lumpy, bed coverings thin. Sturgis has super nice folks - but it appears a lot of the businesses just close up after the motorcycle gathering in August, leaving somewhat of a deserted feel. Sturgis deserves better.

The hotel was alright, not a bad place to crash. The room was clean and comfy. The tub drained kinda slow. It was quiet there. Breakfast was a joke. They were out of everything, even coffee. You could maybe get a waffle, but no syrup or utensils.
