We only stayed for 1 night but bedroom was quiet and clean and the hotel "a bit different" from the usual city hotels (e.g how many hotels have provision for a guitar to be collected from reception for use in the room? A fun hotel with a higher level of security than most.

Very nice & quirky hotel, definitely more adult oriented. If sharing the room, be aware the shower is glass walled on two sides with an exterior curtain that can be opened by people not in the shower, not an issue for me as I was travelling solo, but something to be mindful of for others. Loved having a guest laundry on site, great feature, and it seemed to get a lot of use. Didn’t use the bar or buffet so can’t comment on the quality there. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay

Location is in the mall and the parking situation is a little confusing since it’s off-site. When you walk around the area it’s OK. not the most ideal part of town. The staff were really friendly and helpful so it was a good experience.

Very poor service and cleaning

The whole stay was extremely disappointing. Issues included: - Very poor standards of cleanliness in the room (the worst I have seen in a long time in a hotel) - An infestation of silverfish, which led to us needing to move rooms - A flooding shower (the damp from which presumably caused the silverfish problem) - Audible noise in the room from the bar immediately below. - Room not being serviced despite repeated requests - Poor breakfast selection - on one day there were literally no breakfast items left when we came for breakfast 45 minutes before the specified end time. The manager, Nikita, did attempt to address some of these issues but matters such as cleaning issues were not followed up or addressed adequately. Hotels.com have raised these complaints twice via email with Ruby Hanna but there has been a failure by the hotel to respond in any way, which is indicative of the generally poor service and lack of focus on customer experience. Definitely not recommended.
